I woke up to the sun shining through my curtains which was hurting my eyes, I turned over and grabbed my phone off of my night stand and checked the time. *10am* "Sheesh I didn't realize I slept for that long I usually wake up at 7." I sad to myself
I got out of bed and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and because I had to go, I rushed even thought it was right there but I wasn't trying to take my sweet time. Once I finished doing what I was doing down I brushed my teeth and headed downstairs to see what my dad made for breakfast I hope it's French toast because I love French toast.
"Morning dad." I said jumping down the last two steps and walking over to the kitchen
"Morning Syd, glad you finally decided to wake up." He chuckled
"At least I'm awake, plus I was up last night watching a movie." I yawned
"True, but good thing you're up because I made your favorite." He smiled and turned around with a plate full of
"French toast!" I said with excitement "Thanks dad you're the best!"I smiled
"No problem." He said I took the plate of French today from his hands and began to eat it "Where are the others." I asked
"Oh they went shopping since you guys start school tomorrow." He slightly shouted
"And they didn't bring m- WAIT...we have school tomorrow since when and why are you now telling me." I said slightly choking you on my breakfast
"You were sleeping and yes you guys will be starting school tomorrow, I'll bring you shopping if you want." He suggested
"Okay, I need to get lots of school supplies." I said
"No need I already got the supplies you just need some clothes and shoes." He said
"Thanks dad." I smiled
"How about 11 or 12 we can go you can even bring Mya with you if you want." He suggested
"Um sure, but plz don't embarrass me when we get there, because we all know what happened the last time you brought me to go shopping." I said
"Hey, how was I supposed to know the mannequin was behind me?" He shrugged
"Dad I told you to watch out three times." I said a little annoyed
"If she says no then it's just me and you and you have to promise that you won't do anything embarrassing...okay?" I said with a serious face
"Yes ma'am." He saluted me like a shoulder and marched away
*This is what I'm talking about* I said in my mind
I went upstairs into my room and got dressed since I took a shower

since it's kind of chilly out. Once I finished getting dressed I headed down stairs
"Hey dad I'm ready." I said walking down the stairs
"Oh, Hey Mya." I smile
"Hey I was just coming to ask if you wanted to hang out, but if your busy thats fine." She said
"Actually we were going to ask if you wanted to come with us to the mall?" My dad suggested
"Sure let me just ask my mom." She said while taking her phone out
After a few seconds her mom finally text saying yes and we headed out the door to the car and we were off. We decided to listen to some music while we were in the car turns out me and Mya listen to the same Artist.
*At the mall*
"Bye dad." I said
"Bye Charles." Mya said
He dead out the car and went into the mall, there were so many stores and it had three floors.
"Hey, so why did you wanna come to the mall?" She asked
"Oh, it's because my I'm going to a new school tomorrow so my dad wants me to get new clothes." I replied
"School what school are you going to?" She asked
" I do know yet my dad didn't tell me, I'll ask him when I get home." I said
"Alright, let's go check out some stores." She said grabbing my arm
We went into a store a checked out a couple shoes they had, I saw some low top vans that had red roses on them so I decided to buy them there were cute. We went for in and out of stores we bought so many things, we got to know each other and exchanged numbers. "I'm glad we go to hang out together." She said
"Same we should do it more often I had fun."I said
"I'm kinda hungry, are you?"she asked
"Yeah, left get something to eat." I suggest
We headed to the four court and got some Chinese food. We decided to sit down to eat and to talk more. As we were talking my phone buzzed I took it out of my back pocket and saw that it was a text from my dad.
-Dad: Hey Im outside hope you guy are done. -Me: Yeah we are, we were just eating we're on our way! -Me: and I got you something. -Dad:Aaww,thx. -Me:np, were coming right now.
"Who was that?" She asked
"My dad he's outside waiting for us."I said
We got up and put the empty containers in the trash and made out way out the mall.
"Hey dad." I yelled scaring him
"Jesus I could've had a heart attack what's wrong with you." He said with a strait face
"Sorry dad." I apologized
"Just kidding but did you guys have funny?" He chuckled
"Yeah we did we bought a lot of things and we got to know each other some more." I said
"That's good." He said
He started driving and I connected my phone to the aux cord and we all started dancing and laughing and pretty much joking around. After hours of driving we finally arrived back home. We got out and said out good byes to mya, I went inside and headed upstairs leaving the bags next my bed, brushed my teeth, changed and headed t o b e d.
