I bended my knees to absorb the impact of the landing. My parachute overheaded me. It covered up the whole ground where I landed. All I could see was dirty white cloth due to the parachute hovering me. I tried my best to depart myself from the raging parachute. I crawled out of the parachute and saw the ground and my brother, he offered a hand and lift me up.

"We should run before others will kill us. And that is not good. Right?" He smiled at me and grabbed my hand. I nodded in return and tucked my excess hair on the side of my ears. Then we run, fast.

Fast, that I feel to swoon.

We reached the deep woods. It was getting dark. I could hear different sounds. But the worst was, I could hear monsters from afar and near, groaning. Their sounds were terrifying. The echoing howl of different creatures descend upon my ear drums. My brother stopped running. Due to the unexpected cease running of my brother, I almost fell and break my leg. "Why are you stopping?" I said while I gasped for air.

" It's already dark. We need to find a place to hide. Like..." he snapped his fingers and looked around our surroundings.

"Like that?" I pointed to a huge tree with strong branches, where we could stay until daylight. I know I'm scared of heights but I'm more scared of the zombies and monsters loitering around the place. I'd rather fall than be a meal for the zombies. "Good idea." My brother gestured for agreement.

"This is harder than I thought." I said while I was griping and holding on the uneven surface of the tree trunk. It was really dark that couldn't see anything. I can do this. I imagined that I was still in the center world, doing the elimination round challenge.

I felt that I was already holding the corner of its branch. "Felix, I reached a branch already." I waited for his response.

"Felix?"

"Yes?"

"I thought you're gone again."

"No, im just shutting my mouth because I'm enduring your weight. You're sitting on my head. For goodness sake, lift your butt to the tree branch or else I might fall and die." He said uproariously.

"Oh yea, I'm sorry." I lifted my body weight and sat on the tree branch. I could feel its rough texture. I moved aside and let my brother join me on the branch. He left a sigh of relief then started to rubbed his hands. "It's cold right?"

"Yes."

"I have an idea."

"What?" I asked him.

"He broke a small branch above his head and created two sticks. He rubbed the two sticks and created friction. The heat began to start a small spark then to a fire-lighted sticks. He gave me the other one. He taught me how to hold it so it won't burn me.

"That might not last long. Just for a couple of minutes." He said.

"Where did you know all of this?"

"When I was eleven, I joined a scout camping. We were taught there how to survive in the wild without any gadgets."

Ah, was all I can say. "I think I'm sleepy already. I guess I should rest now." I laid my back down on the huge branch, not caring if it's hard and rough. I'm tired. Really tired.

The loud wailing sounds woke me up. They sounded like- zombies? Oh no. Heck no. I got up fast and saw my brother still asleep. He was even snoring aloud. I looked down and was not delighted with what I saw.

Zombies. - a monstrous creature that almost ended humanity.

They are below us waiting for us to go down and offer our bodies to them. I can't let that happen. The famished monsters were waiting for us to satiate their hungry appetite. I decided to wake up my brother and escape the monsters.
