"And I just want you to know how I feel about you..." Ethan mumbled, putting his glass of wine on the coffee table. I was shocked, I like Ethan the way he likes me, I just never thought he would feel the same way back. He let out a sigh, "I'm sorry if I made things awkward." He said, not looking at me.
I felt bad, I was frozen with surprise. I put my glass down next to his. "You... like me?" I asked back, still not sure of whats happening. He looked up at me, with guilty eyes, and nodded. "I-I, like you too..." I said shyly, his eyes widened and he turned his body twords me.
"What?" He asked, shocked like I was. "I like you, the way you do with me." I said, still shy. His face turned from a frown, to a big smile. "Really?" He asked, in disbelief. He searched my face for signs of a lie. "I m-mean it." I stuttered. "Would you like to go out on a date?" He asked back, I could feel myself blush.
I nodded, my smile growing as I saw his eyes light up with pleasure and excitement. "When?" I asked, "How about this weekend?" Ethan asked, "That works for me." I said with a goofy smile. He let out a laugh, "I can't wait, but this is so weird, it feels weird, but a good weird- I'm rambling." He said starting to speak fast.
I stopped him, "I know what you mean, it's an excited weird feeling, wright?" He nodded, "You're cute." I said with a smile, he let out an adorable giggle. "Tank you, you cuter." He said in a sweet voice. I laughed...
In the morning
When I woke up, I was on my side in bed. I looked around my room, when I realized, I'm not in my room. I'm in Ethan's room, my eyes widened as I remember what he told me last night. Did we do something?
I asked my self a million questions, until I looked under the covers to see I'm fully clothed. I let out a sigh of relief and relaxed into the pillow. I closed my eyes and heard the door open.
I then felt a weight climb into bed behind me. I could hear a sigh of what sounded like comfort, be let out as Ethan layed down. I pretended to be asleep, while he shifted in his spot. I felt him turn in bed, facing my back, he moved closer to me. Wrapping his arm around my stomach, his hand rested on the mattress, right before my chest.
I relaxed, feeling safer, I grabbed Ethan's arm, and pulled it to my chest. My hand gripping his, I heard him let out a gentle laugh. I felt him nuzzle closer to me, I could feel his soft breathing on my neck as he relaxed into my body.
I felt him relax deeper indicating he had fallen back asleep. I smiled to myself as I had fallen back asleep, nuzzling back into him...
A few days later
"Cass, do you want to film some videos with me?" Ethan asked, walking into the living room. I looked up from my phone, "Sure, what do you have in mind?" I asked, "VR?" He asked back.
My eyes lit up, "Oh hell yeah!" I called back, he smiled and said back "I'll set it up, you do what ever you need to do, and I'll let you know when I'm done." He said, I jumped out of my seat and went to go put some real clothes on, something casual.

I heard Ethan call for me and I walked downstairs, he lead me into a room where he was going to record. I sat down in the chair he lead me too, and he turned on the camera.
I smiled and then said, "What is up my cranky boys."I said in a funny voice, the way Bob does all the time. "I fucking hate that." Ethan said, sitting down in the chair right next to me. I laughed as he sat down next to me.
"Do the intro, do the intro, Pwease!" I cried, he blushed a little. He let out a sigh and then look to the camera, "What is up my cranky crew, it's Ethan from crankgameplays, today I'm here with Cassie, and we are going to be playing 'Keep talking and no one explodes'." He said.
My smile grew as I heard him say his intro. "Your welcome YouTube." I said to the camera. He laughed, shaking his head and moved on to the actual, video game. Ethan put on the headset, while I had the manual.
"Okay normal set of wires." He said, I flipped to the page. "How many wires does it have?" I asked, "Six wires, three blue two yellow and one black." I nodded, "Are there reds?" I asked, he shook his head no. "If there are no red wires cut the last wire." I spoke, Ethan cut the last wire.
"Got it, next one is maze." He said, I flipped the pages."first Column on the left, down one, is the first circle, my white dot is the very last dot of the column, my triangle is third column down four. And my last circle is last column on the right, down three." Ethan said, I got a little confused.
"O-Okay, ready?" I asked, he gave me a hum. " okay go all the way up the column. Then go, two right, when you get all the way up. Down one, left one, down another, and to the right one, down one more, and right one more." I paused for a second.
"Up one, to the right two." I said, "Got it, nice job." I smiled letting out a sigh of relief. "Alright we've got symbols." I flipped my pages again. "We are a go." I said, "squiggly N, fancy Hy, backwards E with eyes, and blank star." I nodded, "The order you read them to me." I said back.
"Buttons, Yellow one with abort on it." I looked through the options, "Um... hold the button." I said, "Yellow strip." He said, "Release when there is a five in any position." He let go of the button and I heard cheering. "We live!" He cheered, I laughed.....
