(SCP-096's POV) Note: I have never written about 096 before so I may portray him completely wrong so I apologize WARNING: My attempt at gore.
096 had never really gotten positive attention before. After the younger human left, he didn't know what to think. He still held the yellow ball in his hand, squeezing it with a strike of joy.
He gently took the bag off his head, laying it with great care onto the ground. He shuffled his way to the door, tapping it lightly with one colorless finger.
Then it shifted, and he pulled back with a strike of fear. What if they saw his face? He couldn't let that happen. Nobody liked his face.
The human who walked in had completely orange clothes, with a cloth tied around their eyes. That was good. Now they couldn't look at him.
He stepped up to the human, crouching down and poking it's arm. The human pulled back, face twisted in fear.
096 noticed that the human had something in it's ear, and a moment later it nodded, and reached it's hand up to the cloth on it's face.
They wrapped their fingers around the cloth, and pulled it off. Their eyes widened in fear, and 096 felt a strike of fury.
Of course they didn't like his face, nobody liked his face. He felt hot tears run down his clammy face, and he let out a scream.
The human scrambled back, shouting. It fiddled with the slot of the door, and it hissed open. The human darted away, and 096 chased after.
Shouts erupted around him, and he grabbed the humans arm, yanking him back. He dug his nails in, and with a loud crack, ripped the limb clean off.
The human's scream was such a normal sound to him, it didn't even make him pause as he snapped the bone at the base of the human's skull.
When the body was limp, he turned to the other humans. They all had their eyes closed, heads down. But- one of them had seen him.
Not here, but farther away. But it didn't matter if they ran. He would find them, and he would kill them.
With a scream, he smashed through the wall.
(YN's POV)
When the red lights started flashing, I was convinced 049 could do magic. "Is this a diversion?" I stood up wincing at the bright light. 049 shook his head, seemingly on edge.
035 cackled, a sound full of such joy I was slightly taken aback. "Did you do this?" he shook his head. "No, but it's still awesome! Now we can slip away unnoticed."
049 nodded slowly, but I was cautious. "What if there is a dangerous SCP out?" 035, who was slightly behind 049, wrapped his arms around his neck.
"Simon can take care of anything nasty that comes in our way, and can heal you if you get hurt. He's the best doctor in the whole multiverse!"
049's pale cheeks became red, and he gently unwrapped 035's arms from around his neck, and sighed. "I am not the best doctor, but I try my best."
I smiled, nodding. "Alright gayest SCP's on the planet, let's get outta here." I made a card and shoved it into the slot, stepping into the hallway.
I rubbed my eyes, looking around. The hallway was empty, the only movement being that of the spinning lights. It was kind of spooky, saying how there was no sound but the wailing sirens.
"This is- unsettling." 049's voice startled me, and I forced my pounding heart to slow down. "So, who's the someone you wanted to see?"
I glanced at 035, then around the hall. "Her number is 187, do you know where she is?" 035 nodded, stepping in front of me.
He led us through the empty halls, and when we passed 096's door, we all froze. 049 shook his head and 035 crossed his arms.
"These humans never learn," he muttered, sighing. "And yet, they act as if they rule the world." I stared at the bloody floor before my gaze caught on something.
There was a bloody corpse on the ground, missing an arm and wearing all orange. I blinked at it, my blood turning to ice.
049 came up to me, and 035 placed his hand on my shoulder. "It looks like we have found the cause of our breach."
