Chapter 2:

When we got to school, we all went our separate ways. Mark went with me over to where my friends sat and plopped down next to Mercedes.

"Well, lookie here looks like the Carter Clan finally decided to show up." Rashel teased.

"Shush up, Rashel school has not started yet." I retort to her.

We grin like idiots at each other. Then each of us dive into the stories of our summer vacation. While we talk I look at my group of friends. I have known them forever and I love them dearly. There is Heath who has wheat colored hair and hazel eyes and plays football with Colton and Mark. He was my first friend I made in school when I moved here after my moms accident. Then there is Rashel who has jet black hair and cool jade eyes and is like my twin. We cause so much trouble together it's not even funny. After her is Mercedes who has the most beautiful mocha colored skin in the world with gorgeous straight dark dark brown hair and chocolate colored eyes. She is the ying to me and Rashel's yang. Finally there is Dustin and Simon. Simon is tall with surfer length chestnut brown hair and the most caring brown eyes, and Dustin has bleach blonde hair and sparkly green eyes. He and Simon are in a band together with some other friends. All of us together make the best group ever.

"So Jamie, has anything interesting happened lately?" Heath asked snapping me out of my daydream.

I think quietly for a couple of minutes and then shake my head no. But the Mark rolls his eyes and says,

"Tell them about that weird guy at the mall on Sunday. They should get a kick out of that." Smiling to himself.

I glare at him for a second and the shudder at the memory of that guy.

"Well, Suzie was forcing me to go shopping so I was walking around waiting for her and I bump into some guy around our age like 17 or 18. And I was all like I am sorry and stuff but he gave the oddest look and stalked away. So I was all like ok then and kept walking. But later I bumped into him again but this time it was was him who hit me and he walked off smirking to himself. So I got annoyed but I was all like whatever and I headed towards the store where Suzie was. Then the jerk bumped into me again so I was all like 'What the heck? I sad sorry for bumping to you. What do you want a card and flowers get over it. It was an accident. Then the guy just look at me and started to laugh so I thought he was nuts. But then he said 'You have no idea do you?' And walked off again."

"That's not weird at all." Mercedes said sarcastically.

"I know right! It was extremely weird." I said.

"What did he look like I can ruff him up if u want, J" Simon said in a serious voice.

I rolled my eyes at him and he smiled. Then Rashel asked,

"Who is the world are those three?"

We all turn in the direction she is looking and gasp. There walking up the path way is two guys and a girl and each of the is model like good looking. The tallest has black hair, ice blue eyes, and a very muscular build. He looked like Colton's football friends. Then there was a petite girl hair with deep auburn hair to her shoulders, forest green eyes, and a figure most girls would kill for. The last one was about an inch shorter than the other guy, but he had ash blonde hair, grayish silver eyes, and a slight muscular build.

"O my god, the blonde on is the guy from the mall!" I hiss at my friends.
