"Who are you? What are you doing with my jacket?"

I froze.

Kim Sunoo.

Wait, Sunoo?

My eyes darted from his face to the jacket in my hands.

Oh no. It's his jacket? Not Jungwon's?

My heart was thudding in my chest like a drum, growing louder with every second.

My palms went clammy, and panic rushed up my throat.

I made a mistake. A terrible mistake.

What do I do now? Should I run? Apologize? Pretend I'm lost?

No. If I leave the letter in here, he'll know.

He'll know it's been me all along. And if Jungwon finds out.

In a frantic motion, I yanked the letter back from the jacket pocket, hoping to disappear before it was too late.

But Sunoo stepped forward, snatching the jacket from me and blocking my path.

His confused gaze scanned me from head to toe.

"What is this...?"

Then he caught sight of the letter.

I froze again.

Sunoo plucked it from my fingers, eyes narrowing as he read the name on the front. His expression shifted from surprise to something darker and sharper.

A slow smirk tugged at his lips.

"Are you the one who wrote the letter to Jung—"

"Agh!" I cut him off with a desperate move—I bit his hand, hard.

"You!" he yelped, clutching it in pain.

Without thinking, I bolted past him, heart hammering in my chest.

Oh my god. What did I just do?!

I didn't look back. I just ran.

But the moment I burst through the door—

Thud.

I collided straight into someone's chest, stumbling back with a groan, rubbing my aching forehead.

"Ah—ow..."

I lifted my head.

My breath caught.

Standing in front of me was Yang Jungwon, his eyes wide in surprise, surrounded by his members who stared at me like I was a wild animal.

I panicked.

I pushed past him with a hand over my face and sprinted down the hall, ignoring the stunned silence and questioning stares.

"I—did that girl just push me?" Jungwon blinked at his members in confusion.

They burst out laughing.

"Did you see her face?" Jake laughed.

"She looked terrified."

"Crazy, that's what she is," Sunoo muttered, entering the waiting room behind them, still rubbing his injured hand.

His face was red with both embarrassment and rage. The rest of the members stopped laughing.

"What happened to you?"

Sunghoon asked, frowning at his hand.

"Did a puppy bite you or something?"

"That tiny girl bit my hand," Sunoo snapped.
