evening came and all you did was to avoid them. you locked yourself in the room all day. the boys were worried sick and felt guilty for what happened.

"it's my fault hyung, i didn't consider her feelings and ignored them." jungkook says with teary eyes.

"no, it's not, okay? you tried to help her to be on good terms with her mother. i know she doesn't think of you that way too." jin softly hushes the youngest.

"really?"

"okay, maybe you just went a little too far?" the oldest' words made jungkook cry so hard.

yoongi says. "aye, stop crying. she will be devastated if she sees you like this."

"it's because it's my fault! maybe if–"

"no, you didn't say anything wrong. it's my fault." you cut his words off, standing behind him.

"hope!"

the six except the sobbing jungkook approach you and hug you like a family who didn't see each other for a long time.

"are you okay now?" hoseok asks and you nod. "yeah."

"good thing you're here, he's crying for a while now." yoongi chuckles.

the latter immediately runs towards you and embraces you. "i'm sorry, i'm sorry i hurt you. i'm sorry."

you awkwardly pat his back. "it's alright. i'm sorry i acted like a brat last night."

he lets go and you smile. "i should thank you for last night. your words made me realize and reflect on something. maybe, there's still a chance. maybe, it isn't too late to apologize to her. maybe, it isn't too late for a new beginning."

"thank you, all of you. for everything."

the boys were touched at your words, thanking them with your whole heart.

the night ended with tears and smiles. but no one knows what tomorrow awaits for them, especially you.
