The man woke glaring at the window once again. It took a few moments for him to realise where he was.

"Mother, are you there" asked the man.

"Yes" replied Mother.

"I think..." said the man "I'm beginning to remember better now."

"Good, resist a bit more this time. It's slowly working" said Mother.

"Please do not resist, this is important" said the Aunt.

"What is so special about this place I've made" asked the man.

"Distraction" said Mother.

"Creativity" said the Aunt.

"Procrastination" said a new voice.

"A new voice," said the man "who is it this time?"

"I'm your cousin," said the voice "and you should resist."

"This creation was your saviour, you cannot abandon it now" said the Aunt

"It's merely a distraction to avoid the truth. The truth you must remember" said Mother.

"A truth you once escaped, yes" said the Aunt "but necessary for the world you created. There will be time you will see this was not in vain."

"Time?" said the cousin "You know time doesn't exist in this place. It's futile to continue this experiment any longer than it has."

"Experiment?" asked the man.

"Don't think of it as an experiment" said the Aunt "think of it like a piece of art you have been working on. It still needs more work."

"Tell me," said the man "tell me more about this experiment."

The light from the window caught the man's eye again. He could feel the enticement to walk through it again.

"We've made good progress, try to keep remembering" said Mother as the man leapt through.
