The fresh air blows through my hair and the morning sun waves at me from above. I think about what happened inside. I did not touch my goblet yet it spilled over. I had not realised this fact before as I was drunk on rage and all I could see was red. It is quite curious but the thoughts are clouding my head and I can not take it.

I need to be free of the rusted chains that confine me. I trek up the steep hill situated in the back garden of the castle. I reach the crest and sink on my back into the fluffy grass. "Elizabeth, miss Elizabeth!" A voice wakes me from my light drowse. My eyes are pierced by the bright sun above me. I close them once more and when I expose them to the world again they are met with Luna towering over me.

"Miss Elizabeth, you must get ready for your suitors, queen's orders" she instructs. "Miss Luna, you must get down here and watch the clouds with me, princess' orders" with this I grab her hand and pull her down beside me. We lay there gazing at the clouds and imagining what shapes could be. I roll carefully onto my side and watch her. "Look, this one could be you" she says and smiles to herself in amusement. I return my gaze to the sky and follow her finger towards the cloud that has her so captivated "it looks like a pig covered in mud" I state obviously then look at Luna who is now smiling wider than before. "Exactly".

"Hey, you will pay for this" I say with a false anger. She gets up from the floor and runs away from me. I look down at my nightgown which is indeed drowsed in mud and the occasional grass stain. I catch up with her in a moment and we are both breathing heavily. I pull her towards me and lay her head against my chest so she can hear my rapid heart beat.

"I do not want to marry any of those men Luna" I admit. She is silent for a few moments. "Is that because you are so madly in love with me?" She teases with a smile and runs off towards the castle. The sun blocks my view and I pull my hand up to my forehead to restrict the rays. She is right. I am madly in love with her. She just does not know how much.

I smile to myself as she waves back at me then continues running. I race towards her, the hill giving me extra speed. I reach the base of it where Luna was waiting for me. Her hair is wild from sprinting and her cheeks are a bright shade of scarlet, contrasting greatly with her extremely pale skin.

I stroll into the castle with her following. My father is sat at the table awaiting my arrival. "Do not fret dear father for your princess has returned" I say enthusiastically. "Took long enough, the sun would have gone down long before you had become aware" he retorts with a careless grunt.

"May I be granted permission to take this servant and make use of her elsewhere?" I question politely. "How do you mean, elsewhere" father responds. "I mean help me ready myself for the suitors, we do want to impress them do we not father?" I fire back. "Yes, I suppose so" he answers, scratching his lengthy beard, deep in thought.

I take Luna's hand in mine and lead her up the stairs to my tower.
