"Haru, why the long face?" I ask Haru in an exhausted voice. She hums annoyed and says, "Legoshi was out yesterday and I couldn't see him." I nod and she turns to look at me.

I quickly looks away nervously and she started walking closer to me. "Do you know anything?" She asks. I look at her and put my arms in front of me in defense and say, "No. Nothing like that. Really." She sighs and looks down, continuing to class.

I follow behind, falling a step behind. "So, you never told me what the mask was for." I start fiddling with my fingers and say, "W-Well... I... I might've caught a cold. I've been feeling light headed since morning." It was the most unbelievable lie.

She keeps walking and just replied with a, "Mhm." which I knew meant, 'try coming up with a better excuse next time.'

I nervously chuckle and soon we arrive to class. Like most days, first class was history. I walk in behind Haru, and see the hybrid writing down words on the table, getting ready for class.

I try avoid in him and sit down next to Haru as always.

Class starts and the hybrid greets us like every teacher. "Good morning class. How are you all today?"

"Great!" Everyone except me says. "Mmmmm, is that so? I'm glad to hear that. Well then, shall we start with class?"

Everyone said yes and the hybrid started teaching us more about the past and all  about carnivore and herbivore relationship.

*earlier this morning*

It was already 2 am in the morning and I didn't even do my homework, so I stayed up doing it until I unwillingly fell asleep. My roommate was out with a friend of hers so I was alone in this room.

I woke up from a buzz that came from my phone, it was a message from an unknown number, so I ignored it. Then decided that I'd take a shower before going back to bed.

Showers at 3:30 am. Sounds great doesn't it?

I walked into the shower stall with a plain white, oversized t-shirt, some shorts, other undergarments and a towel.  The shower was long. I really felt filthy, something I've never felt before.

It felt like I'd just... I can't describe it... but it wasn't a good feeling. I stayed in the shower scrubbing myself over and over again until I no longer felt filthy. At least a bit less filthier.

After one and a half hours of taking a shower, I walked out all dressed and dry. It probably was morning by now. The idea of the made me sulk as I realized how wide awake I was, but at the same time, very tired. I checked the time to see that  it indeed was morning, 5:30 am to be exact which made me sulk even more.

I decided that I wouldn't sleep so instead I started finishing the rest of my homework.

After an hour or so my phone alarm went off telling me to wake up. I already took a shower, so I spent another hour to finish the remaining work.

I check my phone, after a loud yawn escapes my lips, to see that it 7:26 am. I quickly got up and stretched my limbs up high in the air. "Ah... my back hurts." I mumble to myself as I walk over to check myself in the mirror.

Great, my eyes were slightly red. I rub them trying to remove the itch but the more I rubbed the more it itched so I stopped and headed to the bathroom. My fur was a mess, my eyes were red and on top of that my back hurt. This day really couldn't get worse.

I started brushing my teeth and after that I pat my fur to neaten it out. Then I washed my face and checked myself in the mirror before heading out of the bathroom to get changed.

It was now bright enough to read the clock on the wall which read 7:52 am. I sighed as I picked out a black oversized hoodie and a white button up shirt, along with a white skirt, with knee high socks. I put my choices on and checked myself in the full sized mirror.

I looked decent. One of my ear twitched as my tail swayed side to side. I walked back to my desk and started getting my bag ready for school, neatly placing my assignments and textbooks inside.

Before leaving I check the mirror again, but something was off and my nose was really sensitive today. I took a long sniff of the air and my nose started aching, so I walked back inside and pulled out a pair of masks from my drawer before heading back to the door as I put one on and the other in my bag. Then I put on my shoes and headed out.
