I woke up with a headache and when I turned to look around the room, I saw antlers sticking up. I then realized what happened, and remembered everything that happened last night.

I quietly got out of bed with the sheets still covering my body and knelt down in front of Melon.

He looked so peaceful and innocent while sleeping. I really couldn't believe that he spent the night with me. Didn't the cafe close though? The door was closed shut and no one was in the room other than Melon and myself.

I turned to Melon's sleeping body and smiled to myself and as I was about to get back up his hands grabbed onto the back of my neck pulling me into his body, and we fell to the ground.

I stayed there frozen, trying my best not to wake Melon up.

"Ma.. ma..." Melon softly cried out. He was sleep talking!? This continued for a couple minutes before I started softly whispering Melon's name, in an attempt to wake him up.

Soon his eyes shot open scanning the room, then averting his gaze at me. He didn't say anything as he got up and walked over to the mirror where he started fixing his shirt.

I got up as well, the sheets still covering my naked body. It was starting to get chilly here, so I decided to dress up as well.

I turned my back to Melon, putting on my clothes, while trying to keep my balance. My whole body ached from last night and exhaustion. Staying upright was a struggle.

I slowly put on the my turtleneck and turned to look at Melon and slowly started walking towards him. I stumbled over my own feet a couple times, but I ended up getting to him.

"You have to go to school right." Melon said as he turned to me. I nodded with a sad smile and he placed a hand on my shoulder and gave me a smile.

"Tell your Mr. Phil that he shouldn't get close to you if he values his life." He said opening his eyes, staring me deep in the eye. I looked away, breaking our stare and said, "But-" before I got cut off by Melon pulling me into a hug which surprised me, but I was happy nonetheless.

I hugged him back, digging my head into his shoulders.

"I guess I'll had to tell him myself." Melon said as he placed a hand on the back of my head, stroking the fur.

"Don't kill him." I quietly mumbled out, my words muffled by his shirt. His hands continued stroking my fur as he said, "I'll try."

We stayed like this for about 10 minutes before someone walked in and told us to leave. I walked beside Melon all the way out and to the dorms. He helped me stay upright, while I limped from the pain I felt throughout my whole body.

I looked at my wrist and saw Mark's planted all over it, leaving me upset and at the verge of tears. Melon noticed and pulled my wrist down and said, "Don't worry about those. They aren't permanent."

I knew that they'd be gone in a few days but it pained to see myself marked by someone I don't like. I didn't want anyone other than Melon to lay hands on me.

"Don't let anyone lay hands on you." Melon said as if he could read my mind. I nodded and said, "I promise."

Why did I feel so close to Melon at the moment... it felt like he actually cared and reciprocated my feelings for him. I felt loved. Not for my body, but for who I was.

Okay so... I have an idea for how I'll end this book, but I'm not sure if it'll go well. Let's see how it goes though...
