A/N: I cannot mention you all in my authoress’ note but damn, why are my readers and reviewers so awesome? I’m not saying this to attract more reviews, but actually, I really feel so, so happy seeing all of your reviews when I click the ‘Review’ button.

Just seeing how surprised or pissed you were. I actually cracked up and my mom looked at me like I needed to see the doctor soon.

Some of your even cursed me for being such a roller-coaster type of author.

Some just reacted indifferently yet I still laughed at their reviews.

Some were so relieved.

Some were like ‘WTF?!’

Some were like ‘IS THIS LEGIT?’

Some were like ‘I HATE YOU, I REALLY DO.’

And some were like ‘UPDATE!’

It still makes me laugh even if I already read all of your reviews for few times now.

Damn, thank you, thank you, thank you!

I’m not forcing you but PLEASE REVIEW. IT’LL MEAN SO MUCH FOR ME.

ENJOY!

Bankruptcy and godspeed,

“Something Lost Will Never Return”

Chapter Fifteen:

“A nightmare?” He repeated.

The smaller red-head nodded and caressed his cheek. His gentle smile appeared and somehow it was like tons of weight was lifted from Kuroko’s shoulders. “Yes, it was a nightmare. A nightmare.”

He touched the hand on his cheek and smiled. “Then, please tell me you remember me.”

“I remember you. You’re Kuroko Tetsuya. The phantom sixth man of the Generation of Miracles. You are one of the freshmen duo of Seirin High School. Your partner is Kagami Taiga. You’ve beaten us in the Winter Cup and we’re supposed to join the upcoming basketball contest this year. You have misdirection and—“

He covered Akashi’s mouth and nodded. “I get it. You do remember me…”

The latter was about to smile back at the teal-head but Kuroko had already started crying.

“It was just a dream…Just a dream…” Kuroko cried as he threw himself –carefully- at the Emperor’s arms.

“Yes! It’s finally Saturday tomorrow! No classes!” Kagami celebrated as he stood up from his seat right after the bell, which indicated the end of their last class, rang.

He turned around and faced his partner. “Are you going to watch us practice again today?”

Kuroko looked up and nodded. “It’s the only thing I can do right now. I can stand up, but I cannot play that much yet. So, I’m sorry.”

The red-head raised an eyebrow and laughed. “You idiot! Why are even apologizing? It’s not even your fault in the first place. I’ll push your wheelchair towards the gym. Let’s go.”

“I can—“

“Stop protesting. I won’t budge.” Kagami interrupted with a grin as he placed his bag on top of the phantom man’s lap and started pushing the latter’s wheelchair.
