"Sorry, Ryunnie, can I talk to my little boy for a minute?" Jaemin asked, though it was more like he was just telling Ryuna that he was stealing Jisung away from her. Ryuna sighed and nodded. "Just make sure to bring him back so we can catch up."

Will not! Part ofJaemin wanted to say it out loud, but he preferred to diss people in his own mind. Jaemin dragged Jisung and his friends to an abandoned classroom. "Hyung, what the heck?" Jisung protested as soon as they entered the classroom. Renjun and Jeno slapped Jaemin's back simultaneously. "You can't just do that to him! He's not used to you yet!" Rejun scolded.

Jaemin pouted, but everyone else agreed with Renjun. Shouldn't I be allowed with my peers? Jisung thought. Jaemin was precious to him, but he had other people too. Jisung's slightly hostile glare pierced Jaemin's heart. Jaemin-hyung can't just keep me to himself. Not after what I did to him. How can he still even face me?

Jisung's stomach twisted. Jaemin's beautiful face stared up at him to see what he would say next. He didn't like this feeling. Jisung wished to be among other people and forget his worries. "I-I'm sorry!" Jisung stuttered. "I can't be here yet, it's too soon." Jisung wanted to run away from them. His legs wouldn't move.

The fear of running away from them again was overwhelming. He didn't want to go through that pain again. He didn't want them to go through that pain again. "Hey, Sung, let's go get a drink from the vending machine." The voice that belonged to Chenle said. Jisung perked up and looked at Chenle with grateful eyes.

Chenle and Jisung walked out of the classroom, leaving the others a little confused, but they didn't suspect anything. "Hey, Ji, I saw how much of a wreck you were back there. You ok?" Chenle said in his usual amused tone, but he still sounded genuinely worried. "Yeah, I'm fine for now. Thanks."

Chenle shrugged. "So what's the deal anyway? Why're you so weird today?" Jisung fiddled with his fingers, wanting desperately to avoid Chenle's question.

When he didn't answer, Chenle frowned. "Come on, I'm your best friend." He tried to persuade Jisung to talk to him.

Jisung bit his lip, and he knew "I'm scared!" He admitted. Chenle was a bit surprised, but he let Jisung continue. "It's been so long, and-and he's acting like nothing happened! How did he forgive me after all those years I left him..." He slowly broke out into quiet sobs.

Chenle guided Jisung to an empty table in the cafeteria. "It's alright to be afraid. Jaemin really missed you. I mean, we all did, but not as much as Jaemin did. He still talked about you even when you were gone. It would make sense for him to forgive you so easily, because he always felt that you were in his heart."

Chenle's words touched Jisung's heart deeply. He'd been away for seven years, and yet Chenle was still the same kind person he'd always been.

"Are you ok?" A hand reached out for Jisung's. Little Jisung sniffled and shook his head slowly. The hand beckoned for him to take it. Jisung took it and was pulled up weakly. Little Jisung staggered to his feet, while the other helped him by letting his arm rest on his shoulder.

"I'm Zhong Chenle. You?" He said. Jisung looked at Chenle. There was something about his that made Jisung instantly brighten up. He couldn't tell if it was his caring eyes, or his cute little smile. "I'm Park Jisung." The little boy said meekly. He grunted as Chenle placed a hand on his bruise. "Sorry!" Chenle apologized.

Jisung shook it off. Chenle frowned. "Come on, let's get you over to a bench." He said. Chenle sat Jisung down and ran off. "Wait here!" He said. Jisung kicked his little feet. He looked at the stains of blood on his hands. Jisung remembered that was pushed off the top of the slide, and skidded to the rough floor. Not long after he sat up, a ball hit his head, and he hit the ground again.

Footsteps came to a halt whilst Jisung was reflecting. "Sorry- I... took- so- so long..." Chenle breathed. Jisung couldn't help but laugh at the former. Chenle held something in his hands. A little red kit with a white cross embroidered in the middle. "My mom always carries one or two of these whenever we go out. He unzipped the bag and took out ointment and a few bandages.

"Can you show me where you got hurt?" Chenle asked. Jisung showed Chenle his left knee and both his palms. Chenle peered closer at Jisung's wounds. "I'm Doctor Chenle! Will you let me treat you?" He said smiling. Jisung hated alcohol being applied and so he shook his head furiously.

"Jisung-ah!" Another voice called his name. Both Jisung and Chenle looked up. Another boy was running towards them, but came to an abrupt stop as soon as he saw Jisung hurt. "J-Ji?! Are you okay? What happened." He said. Jisung looked relieved to see the older male. "Hi, Jaemin-hyung. I'll explain it after Doctor Zhong fixes me up." He told him. Jisung's stress was relieved at the sight of Jaemin.

"Ok... I'll hold your hand!" Jaemin said. Jisung shook his head. "No, hyung, that's where I got hurt."

Jaemin thought for a bit. "I'll hug you then!" Jisung was surprised when Jaemin put his arms around him. "Go ahead and do your thing, Doctor Zhong. I'm here with little Jisungie too!" He squeaked. Chenle giggled and nodded. He poured a tiny drop of ointment onto some cotton and applied it to Jisung's wound. He winced and held back tears. "J-Jaemin-hyung..." He turned to Jaemin for comfort.

"It's alright, Jisungie. I'm here." He cooed and stroked Jisung's head. "Just look at me, and it'll be over soon."

Jisung felt reassured and looked up at his hyung. Jaemin told him a few jokes to distract him. Jisung didn't even notice that Chenle had finished. "All done!" The Chinese boy said, clapping his hands. "Wow! Really?" Jisung looked at the bandaids, and he was all patched up. Chenle smiled and held up a fist for Jisung. "You're so brave, Jisung. I couldn't do that." Chenle remarked.

From that day on, Chenle and Jaemin were always there to treat Jisung's wounds. None of them would forget it. Chenle beat up the person who pushed Jisung off the slide after that. Jisung blinked at Chenle for a moment, and then hugged him tightly. "Thank you, Lele."
