Sam stretched his hand out to grab the doorknob and opened the door. This place was a maze to Sam. The hallway wallpaper was ripped and stained, it made Sam shiver. It was weird modern rooms but abandoned looking hallways. He stepped out of his room and shut the door quietly. Sam went to his left since Kevin and he had come from the other way, remembering not much was that way.

He looked out the window that was in the hallway, seeing nothing but trees. He really was in the middle of nowhere. Sam had gone through a couple of doors, the rooms just being bedrooms. It made him miss his own. He had opened another door to his right, surprised at what he was looking at.

Sam had opened the door to plants everywhere, Sam got a whiff of the air and nearly threw up on the spot. "Not a gang without marijuana" Sam mumbled to himself. He kept on walking, realising how big this place was.

Colby's POV

I had just been stressed out of my mind, someone in my group had nearly been caught and could have gotten us all killed. Thank god I've made sure everyone knows every escape route there is in the town no more than 168 miles from here. I couldn't be bothered talking to any of my other group members. I was just wanting to get to Sam. He really was someone else. Maybe it was a little creepy to be stalking him. But I know that nobody will care or love him the way I do, he will see that one day. I will make sure of that. I've been watching this boy since my dad ran this place, he sadly passed, but I was 16 at that time. I'm 22 now, and Sam is 18. I know six years I've had my eye on Sam is a long time. But I regret none of it. He's my everything, he'll realise one day.

I walk up to our bedroom. It feels great getting to say that. I open the door and see that no one is there, I'm a little confused at this point, Kevin said he was here.

"Sam?" I called out. There was no response, but I noticed his bag was open. My heart dropped, and I was starting to find it difficult to breathe. I searched the bedroom high and low, anywhere and everywhere. No sign of him. I burst out of the room grabbing my phone out of my pocket dialling Kevin's number.

"Kevin, where is Sam?" I asked, trying to keep calm, but I wasn't I was worried.

"Should be in his room, I told him not to leave. He can't really walk, anyway." Kevin explained.

"Well Kevin, he is not in there and I don't know where he is," Colby said.

"Shit, okay, I'll get everyone here to look around for him," Kevin suggested.

"You better," Colby said bluntly.

Colby was looking around everywhere he could think of, looking like a dog who had lost their bone. "What the fuck where is he?" Colby mumbled to himself. Everyone had searched everywhere at this point and had no sign of Sam.

"Colby, it's okay. We probably just missed him somewhere," Brennen said, who was someone else a part of the group.

"N-no, he isn't here. I thought I told you to keep an eye on him, Kevin!" Colby yelled, beyond mad at this point.

"I hadn't been gone for over 30 minutes," Kevin said.

"Still enough time for him to get away," Colby said, hands running through his hair anxiously.

The door that was behind them had opened, and who Colby was stressing about was walking through the door. Kevin and Brennen sighed with relief, silently walking away, knowing well Cole would need a minute.

"Sam, what the heck, where were you!" Colby asked, running up to the blonde, pulling him into his arms.

"I don't know, this place is too big to know, just on the balcony," Sam said confused why Colby was hugging him.

"You were supposed to be in your room, why weren't you in there? You scared me" Colby said, feeling Sam pull out of the hug, but Colby quickly pulled him back in. Not wanting to let him go at the moment.

Sam's POV

I attempted to pull out of this hug. It was weird to be hugging someone who had just kidnapped me yesterday. But Colby didn't seem to want to, I guess he really cares or at least has a weird obsession with me. "I'm sorry I just wanted to look around," I mumbled into his shoulder.

"It's okay, I can never get angry at you," Colby said, relief flooding him.

Colby looked like he needed to calm down. He picked me off my feet and over his shoulder and began walking to their room. What does this guy think he's doing?

"What are you doing, put me down," I said, flailing in Colby's grip.

"I will. When we get there," Colby said.

I eventually noticed where we were, Colby kicked open the door. He walked over to the bed and threw me onto it. But not in a mean way.

"What are you doing?" I asked, shakily.

"I just want to be with you at the moment," Colby said softly. Crawling beside me, wrapping his arms around my waist, pulling me close to him. He rested his head on top of mine.

"You scared me, please don't do that again. I can't lose you." Colby said, shoving his face into my hair. I just nodded. Maybe this wasn't going to be all bad.
