Third Person (Tommy Focus)

The group of protagonists walked through the dense forest. The wood slowly faded from hues of purple to deep browns.
From there they turned into lighter shades until the final obstacle was in front of them. The river. It seemed calm, the fish jumping about, the water was as clear as a fourteen thousand dollar diamond. Yet, Tommy knew it was toxic. When arriving he had been lucky to have been in a temporary dead spot, or he'd be dead where he stood.

Well not where he stood, more like on the side of the river or just bones, as the person who brought him here
was a siren. He claimed to not eat meat, but every other siren was carnivorous. All sea creatures at least where omnivores according to his old fairy tale book, the one his mother used to read to him when he was upset. No matter what it was over. From storms at two am to the day the remains of his father where found, she would always flip open the book and let the word of old wife's drift him off tin to a peaceful sleep, though after that last event she purposely skipped the sea chapters.

Tubbo looked at the water, Wilbur had told them it was toxic earlier when Tubbo had complained about having to walk for hours to get water with Techno. "Well, what are we waiting for?" He asked.

"Human-"

"Tubbo," he interrupted. He looked down quickly, "Sorry for interrupting, but my name is Tubbo. Human sounded too distant. Like we haven't bounded."

"We haven't?" Wilbur said, a bit confused. "I don't really know you too well. I am sure your lovely and all, but I nearly know you."

"It's ok Tubbo, you just haven't bounded like us two men. Right big man?" Tommy said, putting an arm around Wilbur's shoulder.

Wilbur carefully took his hand off his shoulder, using the tips of his fingers as if he was afraid to catch something from the human. "Child, please refrain from touching me. You may pollute my system and cause another outbreak amongst the city below," he stated coolly.

"Ok,"Tommy said, interrupting his monologue. "But what was last night then? Huh? I think that was premium bounding. We also had a bounding moment before, you cradled me in your arms. Granted you kinda took me against both of our wills and had to make sure I didn't drown, but still!" He exclaimed. "How long did it take for you and Technoblade to become friends? Huh? Riddle me that."

"It took two hundred years for us to speak. We kept to our respective sides of the woods. Then Phil came along. It took another five hundred for us to call each other friends and then thirty more to call each other brothers and be, quote on quote, adopted by Phil."
Anyways, humans we cannot cross the river as it is toxic. Not just to your internal organs, but also your external one. To have it touch your epidermis is fatal." He saw their eyebrows shoot up in confusion. "Your skin."

As if to demonstrate, he threw a rock into the river. It made a hissing noise before sinking below. Wilbur walked to the water, and to the horror of the humans, put his hand in the water. He drew it out and had a clump of mush in his hands, yet he remained unharmed. "This was the rock from before, now imagine that, but with organic life forms." He looked at the agape mouths and chuckled, "What is it? Fish got your tongue?" He walked over and put his hand under Tommy's chin, putting his jaw back in place.

"Was it my hand that fooled you?" He asked. The other two nodded. "I come from the sea, the land of where the toxins are strongest, I was born with an immunity of sorts. Now we need to find away around, and I know just the way."

Wilbur walked to a nearby tree and started to climb in. He got to the top, perhaps fifteen feet in the air, and dropped something.
The something was a rope that hung from one of the highest branches. He looked at the ground, grinned,a nod yelled, "Cannonball!"

Before they knew what happened, he was plummeting down towards the ground and into the water. The two
had to back up to not be splashed by the water. Wilbur grinned, running out of the water. His clothes seemed off. They where not wet...? Speaking of it, he wasn't wet at all. Not even damp. His hair seemed more shiny, his scale patches a bit more polished, and his hair shone like morning dew, yet he was completely dry.

"Follow me," he said, grabbing the rope and climbing up the near by hill. "Tubbo, I'm going to need you to put your
hands right where mine are, ok?" He asked.

The older of the two nodded, doing so. "Why?" He asked, clutching to the rope. He felt hands push against his back.
He looked down to see the ground was no longer beneath his feet. He had been trying to walk, but he was suspended in air. He let out a holler and so did Wilbur, but for very different reasons. Wilbur was running down the hill and to the other side of the river as Tubbo held on for dear life. He glanced down, feeling woozy. Yet it was a beautiful sight. Perhaps if he wasn't swinging over toxic water several feet in the air without being told what he was doing, he could enjoy it more. Then he felt it, his hands slip.

Just a bit though.

But then again, this time perhaps six inches.

Again.

"Don't let go," he told himself mentally.

His palms where sweaty and his knees where weak from holding on to the rope as well.
He felt as if he could vomit as he slipped again. Much further this time. He squeezed his eyes shut.

Then he felt it.

Two hands held him close. He could hear a heart beat against the cloth his face was buried in. In fact he though he could hear a second one quite quietly.

"It's ok Tubbo, you did it," a voice said. The one of Wilbur. Tubbo opened his eyes to see a kind smile. "For a first timer, you did well, I'm quite proud of you. I need to run back and get Tommy. You stay here, ok?" Tubbo gave a faint nod, trembling slightly.Wilbur went to move, but Tubbo still held on to him. "H-" instead of finishing his though, he gave him a quick hug. Tubbo's clutch relaxed. "I'm sorry, I won't do that again. ......At least under dire circumstances,as for silly ones I have no promises." Tubbo laughed softly as the other ruffled his hair and walked back to the river and crossed to get Tommy.

Needless to say, Tommy totally didn't scream and cry like a baby and make Tubbo loom like a highly trained professional.
Nope not at all.

(Sorry another short filler, but it's leading to stuff. You guys wanted bonding so I'm adding a village trip and some more stuff before dum dum duuuummmm
