Once Upon a Time {15}

When the worlds where young, four spirits lingered.

Once upon a time, there where four things. They are called things as no one knows what
they where. Some called them nature and others called them Gods. They arrived within barren worlds with only each other as company.

The first one traveled to where it felt was calmest. A barren land with the ground being made
of strange rocks. The fora was all purple and the air was thin and cold. The spirit was mediating when suddenly it felt a Lang of boredom. After thinking for a bit, the thing took part of itself and kept it aside. It fed it the strange fruits and it turned into what became the first person of ender. The being was tall and lanky with strange coloration. Despite it looking monstrous, it was quite genial, reflecting the spirit.

The second spirt followed the first. Only spending about five minutes in the new land deemed "The Ender World,"
it was almost frozen. It lead the small group, now consisting of three, far away. He could never stop shivering as he walked. The only place he didn't feel as if he was about to freeze over was a place where the only liquid was lava and the ground was made of fiery stone. Remembering what the first spirit did, it too made creatures. They where not as pretty and where strange. It kept messing up and throwing the mistakes to the side. Each mistake made a new race. The Piglin, Blaze, Wither Skeleton, and finally the Hoglins where created from his efforts to copy the first.

Growing bored, the third spirit grabbed the hand of the fourth and ran off.The third felt strangely hot and dry so it decided to find somewhere to dwell that was unlike the "Nether World". The Ender World wasn't an option either, it was also dry and lacked the type of life that made it happy. Eventually, the two found the first ocean and the third ran into it. Instantly inspired by the sounds of the sea, the spirit started to sing. From it's melodies, things burst out from the ground. Menfolk from the love songs, series to ones of heartbreak, the selkies from songs of dreams, and finally naiads from songs of hope.

The fourth, missing the third, ran into the water as well. The water burned him so he was forced
to run out. Disappointed, the final spirit trudged away as the third made their creations. Having left his best friend behind, the fourth spirt was blind to where he was going. Finally rubbing the tears from his eyes, he saw where he was. It was a luscious Forrest full of greenery. The air was pure and animals where thriving. It decided to stay for a while, soon realizing the Forrest was a boundary to the water. After a long time, the third spirit helped the fourth make it's own creations. Soon humans and various hybrid creatures thrived.

The spirits, now having their eagerly do spread apart, where exhausted.
Each living thing they made took a bit of their power, so they went into dormant state. For thousands of years they lay in a vast slumber. Protectors where made from bits of left over magic, each protecting a structure.

Then they where reborn into normal creatures.

The first came through a prophecy told by the people of Ender.
"An angel of the humans will come and bring light to us again."

The second came from hushed whispers through the fire.
"One day a great warrior from the most unlikely place will save us."

The third came through a song.
"Hearts sing for the star of the sea will be home soon."

The fourth came within plain sight.
Yet no one saw it.

The four spots came into mortal bodies that could only be killed by injury.
The world soon came back into peace.

Until the warrior with the green eyes struck one down.

Fun facts about this Au:

-The Merfolk, Sirens, Silkies, and Naiads all speak Gaelic as well as the language that the humans speak in the nearby area

Sorry this is shorter, but it has some important stuff so I thought I'd make it real quick
