Chapter 3 -- Violets🍎

Scarlet's POV

I walk out of the boy's locker room feeling embarrassed, about thinking a boy would like or to kiss me. I swallow my emotions and go to my locker.

*Bell rings*

I think to myself how am I going to eat lunch. I was too busy arguing with my uncle this morning to ask for lunch money.

Instead of going to lunch I go to the bathroom and sit in one of the stalls until lunch is over.

Unfortunately, that never works out. I was pulled out of the stalls by these two girls.

One was a red head with long legs olive skin, and a floral dress. The other girl had dirty blonde hair with bangs, she was light skin, had on a black crop top with tan colored sweats and a nike jacket wrapped around her waist.

"Why are you crying" the red head asked.

"I wasn't crying"

"Beats me, doesn't look like it"

I didn't notice I was crying till the blonde wiped my cheek clean.

"Thanks, but why are you talking to me" I said

"We were going to the bathroom when I heard you crying, I was trying to nice since it's the first day and I was trying a new leaf."

"Oh thanks I guess" I said

"Wanna be friends" the girls asked

"Yeah sure" I said while they were helping me up off the floor.

"What's your name" I asked

"I'm Hope Andrews and this is Joy Connors, and yours" the red head asked.

"I'm Scarlet, Scarlet Rhodes. My friends call me "Lettie" but at the moment I don't have any." I said.

"Well your in luck S because you just earned two new ones." Joy said. They both clutched onto my arms and walked out side by side with me. At this moment I knew that school wasn't going to be that hard anymore.

We walked the halls together and we went to lunch. They had 2 other friends. There names were Michael, Austin, and Elijah.

WHAT!!! Locker room, Elijah. OH DANG...

Does he remember me still

Joy and Hope were step sisters, they invited me over there house after school. Guess who lived next door.

Elijah . . . Oh Elijah...

*Bell rings*

End of the first day, I made it through. After lunch we basically all had the same classes except for Elijah he had Home Ec while the rest of us had AP Biology. You may not believe it but I'm actually smart, I just get into trouble a lot so you don't see it very often.

After school Joy and Hope brought me to their house, but they also gave Elijah a ride too because he lived next door. So what's the harm in that.

We walked into their house, it was normal sized. They had three floors, there parents were on the first, the girls room were on the second along with Joy's twin brother, Adrian. I guess Adrian wasn't at lunch because he had football practice during. He was in the same grade as us too, I mean obviously, since they were twins.

Joy was older by a minute but Adrian still had more maturity than Joy did. Hope and Joy shared a room, but it was huge so they had there own side to it.

Ariel and Jace were there parents. Jace was the step father to Joy and Adrian, which meant Hope was the biological child of Jace. They got married like 10 years ago, when all of them were still in kindergarten. Hope's mom died when she was young but she still calls Ariel her mom because edge was always one to her.

Anywho enough about them, and more about Elijah. What a coincidence that Elijah and Adrian were Best friends, so Elijah was like their fourth child, because he was always over there.

~ Sometime later ~

Joy and Hope were talking about a party. The party would be over here because there parents were chill as long there wasn't too much alcohol but it's highschool come on. And they wouldn't be there. Since they were popular but nice popular. Not the people you see in mean girls or cliche books.

The party would be tommorow and I'm invited, I agreed to sleep over tonight so we could all get ready together.
