CHAPTER 07
𝐀𝐃𝐎𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍
It was your last day for you to be in the hospital. You wanted to be out the same time Eri was ready to leave the hospital, but you don't know who you'll live with. You flinched when you heard a knock at the door.
The door opened only to reveal a nurse and a man around his 30's. He had black hair up to his shoulders, and his eyes looked so tired. The nurse sat down on your bed, while she took out her clipboard.
"(y/n), correct?" You nodded while she smiled sweetly at you. "Looks like you are in perfect health right now, you'll be discharged later today. We'll contact your guardian, oka-"
"Mother is the reason I'm here" You said bluntly, making the nurse shock. "She's the reason... why we're both here..." You muttered, while you felt the man come inside your room.
He sighed and shakes his head a little. "Both of you will be staying with me then" You looked at him, while he kept his normal face on. The nurse looked at you, then him, then back to you.
"Would you like the adoption papers, sir?"
"Yes, please"

Aizawa signed all the papers he needed in order for him to become both of your legal guardian. You held Eri's hand, while she hid behind your leg. She wore a white long-sleeve shirt, with a jumper skirt. You wore a maroon turtle neck, along with a black skirt, with (thigh/knee) socks.
Aizawa turned to face you, then the entrance. Mirio walked in with a small smile on his face. He waved, while you slightly waved back. Eri peeked a little over your leg to see Mirio coming your way.
"Hello, (Y/n)-chan, Eri-chan" He greeted while you said a little 'hello'. He talked with Aizawa for a bit, while you felt Eri tug your skirt a little. "Where are we going?"
You thought for a while, until you realized that you didn't know what'll happen. You were going to open your mouth, but Aizawa beat you to it. "(Y/n), Eri, we're going shopping for a bit" He said, while both of you turned to him.
"Mirio, Midnight, and I will go with you to the stores, okay?" As if just on que, Midnight came in with casual clothes. She spotted the four of you, and jogged towards you. "So these are the kiddos we have to take care of, huh?"
Your guardian sighed and nodded his head, while Mirio just smiled wider.
"Alright! Let's go!"
"Ms. Midnight, the exit is this way-"

"Are you sure?" You asked as you got a white and beige stripped sweatshirt with a white skirt. Midnight patted your shoulder, and nodded at you.
"You'll look cute either way, and with your (skinny/chubby) body, it'll make you even cuter!" She squealed while you looked down in embarrassment. You've only been complimented when you were with your family, but hearing it from someone you barely know made your stomach get butterflies.
"Mm, thank you" You said, while Midnight stopped for a moment. 'Did I say something wrong?' You thought until you heard her squeal again. "(Y/n), you're so cute!"

You were finally done with shopping, then you spotted Eri being carried by Mirio. Aizawa was next to them with a couple of bags, while Midnight was looking through the clothes you chose.
"I see you're done already" Mirio said, while Eri nodded in agreement. "Ah- yeah, I didn't want Ms. Midnight to waste more money on me" You said, as you rubbed your arm. Midnight perked up a bit from your statement.
"Dont' worry about it (Y/n)! I'm a pro hero, I make a lot of money" She said, as she patted your head lightly. While nodding, Aizawa cleared his throat. "Now that we're done, let's head to the place your going to stay at"

You all made it to the entrance of U.A. where Principal Nezu was waiting. Everyone got out of the car, while you stopped in front of him. "Welcome, (Y/n) and Eri, to U.A." He said with his arms spreading out.
"Thank you" You said, while you squatted down to his height. You bowed your head a little, while you felt his paw on your head. Obviously, you flinched from his contact, then looked at him.
"No worries, (Y/n). We're here to keep both of you safe" He said, while he turned around. You stood up again, and went to the teachers dorms. Luckily, they made an extra room when all of you went shopping, so it's easier to keep an eye on the both of you.
Aizawa came toward you, while you accidentally moved back a bit. He figured that you weren't used to it, so he stayed a feet away from you. "(Y/n), how would you like to be in the hero course?"
