CheeseClan

Chapter 2

As Cheesestar waited for Briefern's return, he decided to have some food. He went to prey-pile where he chose a mouse. Even though his Clan was called CheeseClan, they won't disrespect cheese and eat it. Instead, they store the cheese in a small hole where it keeps fresh and so that the whole Clan can appreciate it. Once it starts to mold, they throw it out. Cheesestar carried the mouse in his jaws and went back into his den. He plopped down and ate happily. He was mid-way through the mouse when Briefern came in.

"Mozzerellaspot! Pecorinowing! Help me!" She came in dragging a cat. The two warriors nodded and rushed to her side. Briefern stepped away and the warriors flanked the stranger. Cheesestar left his half-eaten mouse and ran down.

"What happened? Who is this?" He asked sniffing the cat.

"This cat was trying to steal our cheese!" Briefern's voice rung throughout the camp. There were several gasps. 

"How dare you! What's your name?" Cheesestar growled.

"I wasn't here to steal your dumb cheese! I was walking by when you just took me!" The cat snarled. 

"We'll see about that. What's your name?" 

"Flower." The cat replied.

"Okay. Mozzerellaspot, Pecorinowing, take her away to the... the.... what's that word?" Cheesestar ordered.

"Prison?" Briefern suggested.

"Yes! Prison! Put her there." He flicked his tail signaling for the warriors to do so. They nodded and headed to the abandoned fox den. 

"Hey! Stop! Where are you taking me? LET ME GO!" Flower hissed and struggled. Cheesestar lifted his chin. He turned to his mate and told her to get checked by the medicine cats for wounds.

"I'm okay Cheesestar. That kittypet couldn't even touch me!" She said proudly.

"I wasn't trying to mousebrain!" Flower called. 

"Oh shut up!" Briefern whirled around and snapped. The two she-cats glared at each for what seemed like moons. She then stormed off to the leader's den. That was... interesting. Cheesestar gulped and followed.
