Chapter 4

"I GOT IT!" Cheesestar peeked out from his den to see the medicine cat dancing around. He must have figured out how to get answers from that kittypet! He had been waiting for a moon to hear what the medicine cat recommended to do. He rushed to Fetaleaf grinning. 

"You found it?"

"Yep!"

"Okay, so what do I do?"

"About catmint? You can't do anything silly!" Fetaleaf snickered, "I'm the one who'll use it."

"Not your dumb leaves. I meant the answer to how to get Flower to talk." 

"Oh that. Just ask her some stuff."

"Seriously? I WAITED A MOON TO HEAR that!?" Cheesestar growled storming off. He saw Briefern coming up to him but ignored her.

"What happened?" She questioned him.

"That mousebrained medicine cat waited for a moon to tell me what I already know!"

"I'm sure he was just busy."

"Maybe..." He grumbled, "I'm gonna talk to Flower then go on patrol." His mate nodded and went to the fresh-kill pile to get something for the medicine cats. He headed to the kittypet who was finishing eating a thrush. He cleared his throat and stood in front of her. The guard, Cantalpoppy, moved aside. The kittypet gulped down the rest and looked up. 

"Hello. I want to ask you some things." He said.

"Spit it out."

"First, who were you waiting for on the day we found you?"

"A cat. You probably don't know him." 

"I might. What's his name?"

"Gorgo. It's short for some name that I forgot. It was weird." That's when it hit Cheesestar.

"Do you mean Gorgonzolafur?" 

"Yes! That's his name."

"THAT TRAITOR!!!" Cheesestar shrieked and Flower jumped back. 

"Traitor?" 

"YES! HE STOLE PART OF THE SACRED CHEESE AND ATE IT!" 

"Umm..." Flowe sat down. There was an awkward silence until Cheesestar finally spoke.

"Okay, I'm going to let you go. But, you have to bring Gorgonzolafur here and tell him we're ready to fight." Flower nodded. Cheesestar flicked his tail and she hurried out.
