Zayn's P.O.V.

I'm going to tell him today. Tell him that I love him. I mean, it's getting pretty hard to hide it from him. I'm pretty sure he's noticed the way I look at him by now. It's obvious. I'm doing a horrible job to say the least. At least I know he loves me back. That's the good part. No rejection. I'm thinking of taking him out for frozen yogurt and then to the candy shop. He'll love it, considering all that little Irish angel does is eat. What a cutie, am I right? Come to think of it, I've fallen for him way faster than I planned. Not that I mind.

Gathering up my courage, I made my way to the bedroom where Niall was doing his homework. He had a few papers spread out in front of him, his eyes squinted as he read. Every once in a while, he would pick up his pen and scribble something down. I just kind of stood there in the doorway, admiring him. In fact, I didn't even notice when he caught me staring. He had to whistle in order to bring me back to reality. It took my brain a moment to catch up with my mouth, which was already trying to formulate words.

"Um, N-Niall...would you like to go out for frozen yogurt with me?" I asked, watching his face for his reaction. He smiled and cocked his head, looking me up and down.

"Of course I would," he stretched and rubbed his eyes, glancing back down at his homework. "This can definitely wait." I smiled and looked out the window, a few leaves floating past absentmindedly. "If we're gonna head out now, just give me a second to change into something a bit more suitable," he motioned down at himself, dressed in a pair of sweat pants and a tank top. Personally, I thought he looked fine, but that was to be expected as I was head over heels in love with him.

"Sure, just come get me when you're ready," I nodded and left the room, closing the door behind me. My heart was racing as I made my way over to the nearest mirror, looking over my reflection. After a bit of convincing from Niall, I had shaved off a great deal of hair from the left side of my head.

"Oh come one Zayn, it'll look awesome!"  Niall threw an arm around my shoulder, giving me a playful dig in the ribs.

"I dunno, I really enjoy having hair on both sides of my head y'know," I said skeptically, looking at him.

"Oh come on, loosen up will ya?" If you don't like it, just wear a hat or something," he was giving me those puppy dog eyes and I felt my resolve break.

"Alright, alright, fine. I'll do it,"I rolled my eyes as if annoyed, but I spared a longing glance at my perfect hair in the mirror, hoping something would go wrong and I wouldn't have to do it.

I shivered a bit at the memory, but in the end Niall was happy so really, it was worth it. I swept it across my forehead back the die in which it belonged, looking down at my outfit. It wasn't bad; a pair of skinny jeans and a loose fitting red plaid shirt, the sleeves rolled up to my elbows. It was unbuttoned, revealing the black tank top I had on underneath. A pair of combat boots topped it all off, and I deemed myself fit enough. I mean, there really isn't much I could do in the like...ten minutes or so it would take Niall to get ready.

He came out of the room dressed in a pair of worn denim jeans and a white t-shirt, looking as gorgeous as ever might I add. I smiled at him and held out my hand, "Ready?" He gladly took it and nodded.

   "Ready."

We were walking hand in hand into the frozen yogurt shop ([A/N]: *resists urge to type Sweet Frog's*), talking about random things. Niall threw his head back and started to laugh, his boisterous cackle filling the air like music to my ears. I held the door open for him like a gentleman, guiding over to the section where we could choose our flavours. Niall, of course, chose anything and everything with the word chocolate in it, adding a mountain of toppings as well. I just settled on a plain vanilla with some chocolate sprinkles and hot fudge. I smiled at his enthusiasm, setting both of our cups down on the scales. The person at the register told us the price and I pulled out my wallet, handing the frozen yogurts to Niall.
