"Wow! You look so pretty. Wait let me take a picture for you to see," Mishika Di gushes as she, Sanchi Di and one of the 12th girls completed wrapping it around me. They have sneaked the phones in the school, like many other students present.
I take the phone from her hand to see the photo. For the change, I feel myself admitting that I do look good.
"I am so waiting for Jay's reaction," Sanchi di whispers into my ear, making me look at her in shock. The other two are so invested in the photo that they both didn't hear it.
"Oh, you still think that I wouldn't notice how he always try to stay by you. That guy was always looking at you when he is not doing any work. I can say the same for you too. You guys are idiots if you think that I would not see those eye locks yesterday."
I blush as she nudges me. God, were we that obvious?
Thank goodness she realizes I was embarrassed and didn't tease me for the rest of the time.
We four made our way out, the three helping as it is my first time wearing a saree.
I look around the room, stopping at Jay who is now ready in a dark blue shirt and formal pant, talking with Adi, Dhruv and Kunal. We had decided that we would wear colour coordinate outfits because we all think that something is going between Mr Hitler and Sneha teacher.
And Jay sure is looking hot in Dark blue shirt.
Dhruv and Kunal are volunteering today, which was just a reason for staying here.
Kunal looks at me and pats Jay's back, telling him something, making him turn around and lock eyes with me.
He looks me up and down two times before his wide eyes stop at my face making all the blood rush through my cheeks. Well if this isn't better than him complimenting me verbally, I don't know what is.
I chuckle as Adi smacks his head from behind, speaking something and gestures to move ahead.
The four comes towards me, Jay still looking at me while the other three laughing at something.
I shyly look at him who is looking at me with a small smile.
"Omg you two also look so amazing," Sanchi Di says to Adi and Jay.
They both thank her and Adi looks at me, "Kia, you now look like a chudail officially."
I glare at him and smacks his arm, "Shut up, Monkey."
Sanchi Di and other girls move to change, leaving me with the boys.
"Can you please take our picture? Right now no one is there so there will be no problem," Jay asks, holding his phone towards Dhruv.
Kunal mischievously wiggles his eyebrows at Jay and me making me roll my eyes at him, though a shy smile had taken its place into my face.
Jay stands beside me, and we both look at the camera.
"There is no one here other than us, and even if anyone comes, they can't see anything, we three are covering you. Stand close," Adi says and gives some instruction.
Well, ain't I lucky to have them?
Jay and I both blush but stand close nonetheless. Jay put his hand on my waist while I turn slightly sideways and put my hand on his chest.
Dhruv clicks the picture and tells, "Now look at each other."
We both look at each other in the face. Jay smiles brightly at me when I lock eyes with him. And I am sure my face is showing the same delight as his.
