"Hey, you can't stay at your house and you can't stay on a bench..", The woman smiled, "Do you want to come stay with my family for a little while? I have two fabulous tween daughters and a adorable toddler son."
Zac thought it over. This woman is insanely nice and will let me stay with her, which would be way better than starving to death on a bench.
On the other hand, she could be a murderer.
"I'll take my chances with you being a murderer!", Zac laughed and hugged her.
"Okay, then!", She scoffed, "Oh, I'm Dakota, by the way. Don't call me Mrs.Dakota or anything. Ew.",
"Okay...Mrs.Dakota.", Zac smirked. Dakota gave him a death stare and laughed it off.Later at Dakota's house-
"Maddie!", Dakota yelled up the stairs of the house.
"What?!?!", A woman yelled down, running.
"I found a boy on the bench. He is going to be staying with us until we find his boyfriend.", Dakota stated.
Zac turned to her, "Until we WHAT-..?"
"Find your boyfriend..", Dakota put her two pointer fingers together.
"Um-...I wanted to but like I realized it's been a year and a half he has probably moved on..", Zac frowned.
"You will never know unless you ask him."...DAYS AND DAYS LATER..
"DAKOTA! ZAC! I found him!", Maddie pointed to a boy on her phone.
"Great job, Mad!!!", Dakota squeaked.
"Thank you so much..both of you.", Zac smiled.
"Well, go get him...He isnt more than a five minute walk from here. What a coincidence...or is it F A T E?" Dakota teased him.
Zac blushed. "Thank you, guys, for everything. Food and shelter and help and support-..everything."
He hugged them both and left to find his happiness."4537 Calbury Avenue....", Zac said aloud and turned to the right, "4537 Calbury Avenue!"
He walked up the steps to the house and put his finger to the doorbell. "Are you ready, Zac?", He said to himself and breathed slowly.
He pressed the doorbell and starting shaking. The door was opened by a little girl, that he didn't know, but he did know who was hugging another guy behind her.
"Aiden-...", He reached his hand out and started sobbing. Aiden turned around, "Zac?!?!?"
Zac bit his lip and ran. He ran and sobbed. He ran and sobbed. He ran and sobbed until night came. His legs turned stiff. He dropped to his knees and cried. Conveniently, a thunderstorm arrived and soaked him with rain.
"GOD D*** IT!", He screamed, pounding his fist onto the sidewalk until it bled.
"ZAC!?", A voice yelled from the night. Zac looked around to see who the voice was attached to. He saw a figure in the darkness. Panic flashes over him. Was it his Dad!?! No-..he realized. The voice was different from his dad's and the figure was thinner.
Zac stood up and tucked his wounded fist into his jacket pocket.
"Who's there?", Zac called out and the figure ran to him.
Before Zac could figure out who it was, the figure planted their lips on his.
"Aidan-..?!", Zac gasped. Aidan smiled.
"I can't believe you found me-...I missed you so much!", He picked Zac up and twirled him around.
"Who was that guy you were hugging!?", Zac asked.
"My uncle. My uncle and my little cousin were leaving for Flordia.", Aidan held Zac in a hug.
"I missed you so much-..I'm so sorry. I should have fought for you...I just thought that that would make things worse-..and I-", Aidan said, but Zac shut up him with a kiss.
"It's okay. I'm here now.", They kissed again, the rain pitter pattering around them.
