The next morning, we were woken up at the crack of dawn and everyone walked out of the bunkhouse, well, not everyone. Terra was told to stay back and get cleaned up. I sighed, I knew that this afternoon was most likely going to be the last time I ever got to see her. “Luna, get your mind on your work,” master snapped at me. I nodded and started moving baskets from one place to another. The baskets weighed heavily on my shoulders, but there was nothing I could do. I set the baskets down and went back to get more when I caught sight of a man with purple hair in the crowd of commoners and servants. He looked more like a king than a commoner. He was probably here to look into buying Terra as his slave like a lot of the men were doing here. I sighed, I didn’t want Terra to leave, but, since she had to, I at least hoped it would be someone who would treat her better than her current master. I went to pick up another crate when I was picked up. “W-what?” I yelled, unsure of what was happening. A hand covered my mouth and I was brought to a chest. I looked up and saw in was the purple haired guy. It was then that I realized who it was. It was King Sinbad of Synedria, my homeland. “King… Sinbad?” I asked. “Hello Luna,” he said, smiling at me. “HEY SHE’S MY SLAVE! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING?!” master screamed, running over to us. “Taking her,” Sinbad said plainly. He pulled out his sword and held into master’s throat. “If you try to stop me, I’ll kill you,” Sinbad snarled. Master began to shake. “Y-you can have her for a hundred jewel,” he said. Sinbad smirked. “I’m not even giving you one jewel. She is mine!” he said. He held me securely in his arms and ran, fighting his way through the guards that tried to stop him. By the time we got through all of them, no one was dead, but there were quite a few wounded guards. “SHE DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU, SINBAD. I WILL GET YOU BACK,” master yelled. However, Sinbad and I knew we were both more powerful than the master. Sinbad turned his back to everyone in the marketplace and he ran with me through the courtyard until we got back to the hotel he secretly stayed in along with his two household vessels. He ran up the stairs with me in tow until we reached the top floor, where we met his two household vessels, Ja’far and Masrur. “Good Sinbad, you saved her,” Ja’far said. “Duh Ja’far,” I snorted. He glared at me and Masrur came over to me. He used his strength to take the chains around my ankles off. “Thank you, Masrur, I was so tired of those things,” I said. “No problem,” he said. Masrur was like Terra. He had the same reddish-pink hair and the same eye color, though Terra’s were more violet than his. “Oh no, Terra!” I thought. Ja’far handed me a change of clothes and my twin katana. I held them in my arms and turned to Sinbad. “Sinbad?” I asked. “Yes?” he asked. “I made a friend when I visited the Dark Continent and we were captured and taken as slaves together. She may not be someone you know and care about, but I care about her. She is being sold today. Please save her too,” I pleaded. He sighed and looked into my white eyes for a long while. “I cannot make another scene like I made rescuing you. If I save her, none of us can be seen, do you understand?” he asked. I nodded. “Alright, Ja’far, go to town with Luna and rescue her friend. Neither of you be seen. If you are spotted before you get her, I am sorry,” he said. “Thank you so much, Sin!” I cried and threw my arms around him. He hesitated for a minute before he hugged me back. “Alright, we need to go before it’s too late,” I said. Ja’far and I raced down the stairs and back into town. Instead on going to the market, we climbed the top of a wall that surrounded the market, built to protect the palace. “There she is!” I cried and pointed down to the stage in front of the market. There stood Terra, butt naked, on the stage with master. The men here for the bidding had hungry looks in their eyes. They were already bidding on her. “We have to get her before it’s too late,” I whispered to Ja’far. He moved up his sleeves and grabbed his rope wire without the blade. Instead of the blade, it had a small metal ball. He threw it and it unraveled from his arm, but not completely. The rope wire expertly wrapped around Terra, scaring her and everyone else. Ja’far and I had moved out of sight so everyone thought Terra was being brought up by something invisible. Ja’far rewrapped the rope wire around his arm, pulling Terra up. Once I saw her reddish-pink hair, I grabbed her and pulled her over the wall. “Luna?” she asked. “Yes, now come on, we have to get out of here!” I cried. All three of us run through the streets, well, Terra was running and pulling Ja’far and I with her since she was trying not to be seen naked by too many people.
