We watched Terra pass out. I had seen her pass out before when Judar was controlling her, so I knew she was going to be ok. I didn’t start panicking. Sinbad on the other hand started freaking out, terrified that he’d hurt he. “Does Sinbad already have a thing for her?” I thought to myself. I sighed. I knew he did. Why else would he freak out about her passing out if he didn’t? I needed to just give up on him. He was never going to realize the feelings I held for him, and I was never going to have the guts to tell him. Everything was so messed up, I didn’t know what to do. I desperately wanted Sinbad to return my feelings, but if he liked Terra, I wasn’t going to get in the way of that. She had been through a lot. First, her parents were murdered, then she was controlled by Judar, then she became a slave; she deserved something good in her life. If Sinbad was that something good, I wasn’t going to stand in the way.

“Luna, you still in there?”  Yamriaha asked me, waving a hand in front of my face. “Huh?” I asked. She sighed. “I said, we’re going to wait for Terra to wake up and then Sinbad is going to hold a meeting with the Generals. At this time, Terra will be admitted to the Generals and we will all show off our talent,” she said. I nodded. “And Luna, go get your things from your room,” Sinbad said. My eyes grew wide. “A-are you kicking me out?” I stuttered. He looked at me like I was stupid. “Of course not! You’re moving in here with Terra. She requested it,” he said. “Oh… is that ok?” I asked. “Yes. The only reason it isn’t like that now is because there are only three rooms up here and eight rooms down there. There wasn’t room,” he said. “Oh, ok! I will get the others to help me if that’s alright,” I said. He nodded. “Ja’far is going to come in here and watch over her in case she wakes up. I am going to assist you in moving your things up here,” he said. I bowed my head. “My king, you can’t do that. I along with the other Generals can do it,” I said. He walked over to me and patted my hand gently. I looked up at him. “Luna, I may be the king of this great country, but when we are in times like this, I am your friend, and only your friend. I have known you well before I became king. You don’t have to always treat me like a king,” he said. I nodded. He took my hand and we walked out of the room. I was blushing like crazy. I couldn’t believe he was actually holding my hand! We walked down the stairs and into the hall where most of the Generals slept. Yamriaha was walking behind us. “Everyone, I will explain to the full extent tonight what is going on. For now, I need everyone to grab some of Luna’s things from her room and carry them upstairs to the spare room across from Ja’far’s,” Sinbad announced. Everyone looked at him confused but no one dared question him. “Are you two going to make a baby? Can you name it after me?” Pisti asked. I blushed brightly. She, along with every other General knew about my massive crush on Sinbad. All of the maids knew. The cooks knew, the carpenters knew, most of Sindria’s population knew. The only real person who didn’t know was Sinbad. People tried to convince me to tell him, but I was too scared of rejection. Sharkkan tried to tell me that Sinbad felt the same, but I didn’t believe him. Sharkkan was nothing but a big joke. He liked to manipulate people’s feelings, a lot like Sinbad did. Sinbad knew how to make people fall in love with him. He knew how to use them. I was afraid if I told him I liked him, I was just going to be falling into one of his traps.

I guess I lost track of what I was doing the next thing I knew, I was brought back to reality when my dresser fell on my foot. “OW!” I squawked. “I told you to pay attention!” Sharkkan yelled at me. He was on one side of the dresser and I was on the other. We were going up the stairs when I dropped it. “OK, finish taking her stuff to that room. Sinbad, will you carry her to your bed so I can examine her foot?” Yamriaha asked. “Of course,” Sinbad said. “Wait no, I can wal-,” I didn’t get to finish. Sinbad had already scooped me up in his well-toned arms and was carrying me up the stairs. “Sinbad!” I yelled. Sharkkan, Hinahoho, and Drakon were snickering. I shot them a glare. Sinbad laid me on his bed and shut the door behind Yamriaha. She walked over and sat in a chair beside the bed and used her water magic to examine my foot. “It’s broken,” she said. I sighed. I was hoping I’d just bruised it good. “Can you fix it?” I asked. “Well, yes and no. I can mend the bone, but you’re going to have to walk around in a water cast for a while so the bonds can fully heal,” she said. I groaned. “Mend the bone,” I said. She noddd and used her magic. All I felt was excruciating pain in my foot. I tried not to cry out as Yamriaha was mending it. My leg was jerking so Sinbad was holding it down, but he was also holding my hand. He looked into my eyes and suddenly, the pain went away. I was focusing solely on his eyes. I wanted so desperately to know what he was thinking. I wanted to use my sound music to read his thoughts, but I had no right to. I vowed that I would never use my magic to read people’s minds unnecessarily. “There, all done,” Yamriaha said. I looked down and saw my foot was already incased in a clear water bubble. “I will have to take it off ever few days to let you wash your foot and things, but for now, you’re all set,” she said. “Thanks Yam,” I said. She nodded. There was a knock on the door. “Come in,” Sinbad said. Ja’far walked in carrying a conscious Terra. “I can walk, you know,” she grumbled. “Yes, but it would be best to rest your legs for a few days. People can carry you around for a couple of days to let the bruising on your legs heal, then you should be ready to walk again,” Yamriaha said. Terra groaned. “Alright, let’s get everyone in the meeting hall,” Sinbad said. “We’re finished with putting everything in the spare room,” Sharkkan said, stepping in the doorway. “Alright, get everyone in the meeting hall. We have some things to talk about,” Sinbad said. Sharkkan nodded and we heard a lot of stomping feet going down the stairs to the meeting room. Ja’far walked out of the room with Terra in his arms. I started getting out of bed when Sinbad picked me up. “I can walk!” I said. He just ignored me and walked out of the room and down two flights of stairs. We walked under the stairs and entered a doorway which opened up into a very large room. The room had to be large. Hinahoho was huge and Drakon was well, a dragon. Ja’far had sat Terra down and everyone was staring at her, except Yamriaha. Sinbad sat me down next to his chair and he stood at the head of the table. “Let this meeting begin,” he announced, then he sat down. No one said anything. Ja’far was sitting at the opposite end of the table with Terra beside him. “As you all know, we went to the country of Cerebral to rescue Luna,” Sinbad begin. Everyone nodded. “Well, that rescue mission turned into the rescue of two people,” Sinbad said. Everyone looked at Terra.
