"COME ON HATTER!" Senorita cried. We ran to the train and we barely jumped on the back before it got out of the station.
"Well, that was exciting." I smiled out of breath.
"Next time you sleep in, I am staining your good suit with milk!" She spat. She opened the door and we walked in. We walked through the hallway until finding an empty car room. I sat on one side and she sat on the other.
"Tickets!" I man came in. We handed our tickets. He stared at Senorita and I for a moment then handed back our tickets and left the room. Senorita put her parasol down on the seat.
"That was odd." I commented. Senorita sat there like she was in a daze. I sighed and switched to sitting beside her.
"Senorita, I know you want to find Hocus, but you still need to recover from yesterday." I suggested getting her attention. I put my hand behind her left ear. It's the spot of her brain that has the psychic part and when it thinks it gets hit it protects itself and stops working which also makes Senorita pass out.
"Hatter, don't" Her eyes crossed a little then closed.
"Don't worry about Hocus. We're on our way, you can be all psychickee when we get there." I whispered laying her head down on my lap. I pulled her hair back from her head.
"Yep, it's pretty bruised. Senorita I think you're the most caring person in the world but please don't hurt yourself doing it." I sighed. An hour went by then a man in a black hood walked in and sat across from us.
"Is your name Hatter?" He finally asked.
"What kind of name is that?'' I replied acting like it was stupid. He stared at me.
"You need to get off this train." He instructed.
"Why?" I questioned. The train just stopped. We both jump up. I held Senorita in my arms.
"Get off the train Hatter or so help me I will smack you when I see you again!" He exclaimed then he passed out.
"Hocus?" I wondered. I grabbed Senorita's parasol and opened the door. I started running and the train started back up again. I opened a train door. There was nothing but water below.
"THERE!" Someone yelled. I jumped out to the water below. We hit the water and Senorita started to struggle. I finally got us up to the surface. Senorita started coughing and gasping for air.
"YOU MAKE ME PASS OUT! YOU JUMPED OFF A BRIDGE, AGAIN AND THIS TIME WITH ME! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU IDIOT?!" She was royally mad and punched me several times.
"I did it because of Hocus!" I exclaimed. She stopped.
"Hocus?" She finally questioned.
"MY HAT!" I yelled realizing that it was no longer on my head. I gave Senorita her parasol and I drove for my hat. I found that it didn't sink very far. I grabbed my hat and came back up to the surface.
"Ah, my sweet baby is back."I smiled happily. Senorita signed.
"You and that hat. come on!" She grumbbed.
