The Next Day

Lilian and the other maid's are preparing Athanasia and her two older brother's for the funeral this afternoon.The funeral was suppose to last for three to five days some even last for a week but Claude wanted this to last as soon as possible.

After preparing Athanacious and Clay fetch Athanasia-who is still clueless since she was just a child-who look cute even in her funeral outfit.

"Bwother Athan,where are we going?"Athanasia ask innocently breaking the hearts of her two brother

"You'll know it later,for now let's go to father"Clay was the one who answer when their older brother remained silent

"Oh alwight"Athanasia reply with a cute smile adoring her face,making the two smile guiltily.The trio walk hand in hand,their walks are slow because of Athanasia. A few more minutes later Athanasia stop making her two brother's to stare at her with one eyebrow raising

"What's the matter?"Athanacious ask as he crouch down at the same level as his sister who face him with a put adorning her face

"I'm tiwed bwother,cawwy me pweas"Athanasia said as she raised both of her hands in the air,

"Carry her brother"Clay said as he face them,without any complain Athanacious carry Athanasia in both of his arm.

When they arrive at the place where the funeral of their mother was held,Claude is can be seen standing in front of the coffin where Diana laid

"Daddy"Athanasia shout breaking Claude from his train of thoughts,he turn around and face Athanasia who jump down from his brother's arm and running towards him

"Daddy where is momma?"she ask innocently as he stare at her father who was staring down at her.Then he crouch down and patted her head then smile bitterly.Claude only smile bitterly at Athanasia who was staring at him having no clue on what's really going on

Then Claude proceed to Carry Athanasia,while Athanacious and Clay stand by the side of their father who's carrying Athanasia in his arms

"Felix have you prepare everything?"Claude ask inaokd voice

"Yes your majesty,the carriage is also ready"Felix Robaine the loyal knight of Claude answered as he bow and follow the king,princess and princes' to their carriage

Felix open the door to the carriage so that they can ride,when they succesfully rode in the carriage,felix climb to his horse and thus the funeral started

A few hours later,Athanasia finally saw her mom being burried in the ground

"Papa why are they putting momma there?"Athanasia ask innocently breaking the hearts of her older brother as well as the king and everyone who heard her question

"Papa if they put momma there,then how will she be able to sing a lullaby for me?She also pwomise Athy that we will have picnic,so papa tell them to stop"Athanasia ask continuously

"Athanacious,carry her"Claude ordered to his oldest son,as Athanasia's tears started to fall,Athanacious gladly carry his sister and began rocking his arms making the princess to yawn and later on fall asleep with tears strained in her cheeks

After the funeral,they all returned back to the palace, Athanasia is still sleeping when they arrive,Claude took Athanasia from Athanacious arms

"You too follow me"He said as he face his two older sons,which only nodded,they still can't find their voices after their mother's death

They arrive at Claude's room,he lay down Athanasia on the bed and face his two older children with a serious face

"From now on you the crown prince and oldest sibling Athanacious De Algar Obelia and you the second prince and the second oldest i want the two of you to protect your youngest sibling and the only princess  Athanasia Claudia De Algar Obelia,therefore you need to be serious with your etiquette lessons as well as your swordsmanship and magic,also Athanacious as the crown prince you also need to study politics but not today maybe when you turn 10"Claude said

"Yes father"They both answer both eyes held determination as they left the room,thinking of what the future may bring for the four of them
