-Shinsou POV-
It was 5 in the morning, why the fuck was someone calling you at this time? You felt around in the dark for your phone and picked up the call. It was Y/N, so every bit of anger and annoyance about being woken up early dissipated.
"Shinsou, guess what!" She was whispering in a way that made it seem like she was trying not to yell, which confused the shit out of you. The sound of doors opening and locks being undone didn't answer any questions either. "I'm off of house arrest! I can GO places now, Shinsou! Wait a minute." There was silence for a moment. "Get some exercise clothes, we're going for a looooong walk and you don't have a choice." You snickered and agreed before hanging up.
"What does she mean by exercise clothes? Meh, whatever." You sat up, rolled out of bed and made your way to the closet. You stared at your clothes for a few minutes, not comprehending any of them because of the grogginess blocking your brain. A sudden knock at your door did help to wake you up a bit, though. You walked across what seemed like miles and miles of house before you reached the door. It was Y/N, getting impatient yet again. Before you could react, she grabbed your wrist and drug you up to your room.
"Where is your damn closet?" You pointed to the closet door. She threw it open, looked for a second, and pulled some things off the rack. Your options were gym shorts or sweatpants and a basic t-shirt.
"Take your pick and don't take forever, its just clothes." You knew it would probably be chilly so you grabbed the pants. And just to be extra cozy, you got a nice hoodie too. A few minutes later, you were ready. Well, almost. Your hair was a rat's nest, but when was it not? You nearly tripped four times just going down the stairs. Waking up early was definitely not a talent of yours. Y/N took one look at you before walking back up your room. You wanted to see what she was doing, but the couch looked so comfortable... Before you knew it, you were buried under a blanket on the couch with the cats beside you. Y/N ran down the stairs three at a time with a hairbrush in hand. She forced you into an upright position and without warning, began separating pieces of your hair to brush out. You didn't mind. You would never admit it, but you liked the feeling of her fingers in your hair. It was... soothing. Something like quiet music came from behind you. Then you realized that Y/N was humming what sounded like an old sailing song. You kept your mouth shut, mainly because you didn't want to ruin the moment. You felt as though you could go back to sleep and let her work, but she probably wouldn't like that.

-Y/N POV-
You held the last thick piece of soft lavender hair in your hand as you brushed the tangles out of it.
"His hair is so damn soft... Ah, shit, now I really wanna ruffle his hair.." You realized that you were subconsciously humming again, so you stopped. But it continued for a split second, only from a deeper voice. Before you could pinpoint where it was coming from, it abruptly stopped. "That's weird..." You finished his hair and let him go. You watched as he darted to the nearest mirror. He gazed at the reflection of his hair like it was a piece of abstract art. He reached up and rubbed a lock between his fingers, possibly trying to decipher if it was true or not. You snickered at his reaction, but then remembered why you came over here. You grabbed his wrist and pulled him out the door and towards the beach. It wasn't very far away, and you knew the perfect area that no other people ever found. You picked that spot because one, you and Shinsou both preferred not to interact with strangers, and two, you had so many memories tucked away into the corners of this place. He gave your arm a sudden tug, and you got the message. You slowed down so that he could get on his feet and walk on his own. Once he was standing, a smirk spread across your face and you broke into a full speed run, leaving him to eat your dust, or so you thought. A few seconds later, he came up on your left and passed you. He then realized that he had absolutely no clue where he was going, so he stopped and waited for you. You stood beside him, trying to catch your breath.
"How...are you...so...damn...fast?" You plopped down on the beach sand and looked up at him. He just shrugged his shoulders.
"So, Y/N, why did you bring me here? At 6 in the morning?" You took a deep breath and stood up. He was quite confused when you held out your hand to him.
"My hand. Take it. And don't ask any questions." He hesitated, but set his hand on top of yours. When you closed your hands around his, he looked to the other direction, but you didn't think much of it. You sighed, knowing you had to use your quirk to do this.

-Shinsou POV-
You were having an internal panic attack. Y/N had her hands around one of yours. You looked away so that she wouldn't see how much you were blushing. Suddenly, you heard something like the slow ticking of a clock from beside you, but the only person beside you was Y/N..was she causing the sound? You looked over to find that the setting to the right had completely changed, but the left hadn't. Y/N huffed in frustration.
"God damn it!" she paused for a moment. "Stand still, don't move a muscle." You obliged, but couldn't help it when she held your face in her hand.
"Y/N, what the hell?"
"Close your eyes."
"Why?"
"Just close your eyes, Shinsou."
"Fine." You did as she asked. A few seconds later, you felt like you were on a rollercoaster, it felt like everything was spinning. Then, it stopped. You could still feel Y/N's hand on your face, so you knew you weren't dead yet.
"You can open your eyes now. We're here."
"We're here? The hell does she mean by that? Did we teleport or something? Maybe that's her quirk. She hasn't told me what it is yet, so it isn't unlikely." You opened your eyes to see that the beach had completely changed. It looked... younger, almost. She grabbed hold of your hand with a smile and took off down the beach. "I'm the faster one, my ass!" In only a few short moments, you two were standing in front of a large opening in a rock. She pulled you inside. You were getting more and more confused by the minute. Y/N lead down pathways to a child-sized door. There was a lamp above the door, which she opened and pulled out a small key.
It took a minute or two to unlock the door. Once she did, she laid on her back and pushed herself through the door. She stuck her hand out and motioned for you to do the same. You did, but it took significantly more effort than she needed. You stayed on the ground for a second with your eyes shut. The air smelled... sweet, and you couldn't figure out why. You opened your eyes and were left speechless. You were sitting in a miniature library with beanbags, lamps, and these odd cabinets built into the walls. Y/N opened one and pulled out a basket that was covered with a cloth. You sat up and turned to face her as she set it down on the floor between you. She looked so happy. It was the kind of happy you get from watching a show that you loved as a kid and the wave of nostalgia gets you. She grinned and pulled off the cloth to reveal a wild assortment of different pastries that looked as if they were fresh out of the oven. She took one and gingerly pushed the basket to you. You hesitantly chose one. It was very warm, which shocked you. You looked at Y/N, who had managed to get a bit of whipped cream on her nose. It seemed like she hadn't noticed it, so you wiped it off with your thumb. She looked at you, slightly confused. Your face began to heat up, but you didn't know what set it off.
"What do I do with this though? I have whipped cream on my thumb and no clue on what to do with it. Well... I guess I could..." You waited until she turned her attention back to her treat to quickly pop the whipped cream into your mouth. Y/N hadn't fully stopped looking at you, so when you did so, she looked away and hid her face. Suddenly, an idea came into your head.
"So, Y/N..." she answered you with just a 'hmm', but that was good enough. Her eyes turned white and her jaw hung open. You kinda felt bad using your quirk on her, but you needed to know. All the times you asked her over text about it, apparently she never received your message.

"Tell me... what's your quirk?"

Oooh, drama! Also, don't you just love a good cliffhanger? 🙃

Remember, you are loved, and perfect in every way, shape and form. If anyone tells you otherwise, look them dead in the eyes and just '🖕' and leave them with their thoughts. I love you soooo much!
