-Y/N POV-
You woke up feeling like death, what was new? Lifting up your head, still heavy with sleep, from what you thought was the arm of the couch and looking over to your left, you saw Shinsou. The steady rise and fall of his chest let you know that he was asleep. You laid your head back to where it was when it hit you. There were no pillows, just you and Shinsou. You wanted to move but you knew that if you did, he would wake up. You decided that it would most likely be better if you pretended to be asleep and wait for Shinsou to wake up. Right as you closed your eyes, he began to shift.
"Oh shit, he's waking up, what if he knows I'm faking? What if he gets mad? Or thinks that I'm weird? Damn it, why am I so fucking embarrassed?"

-Shinsou POV-
The tingling sensation from your right arm woke you up. It was as if something had been laying on it all night.
"What- oh, right... Do I let her stay there? Do I move her? Do I wake her up? Do I-" Your thoughts were broken when she shifted and her head slipped from your arm onto your knees. You felt your face immediately heat up and you knew you were doomed. If you let her stay there, it would be weird. If you woke her up, she would see her position and probably think you put her there. If you moved her, she might wake up. Your mind was racing and you didn't notice Ellie strolling up to the couch. She leaped up onto the cushion, then started pacing Y/N's legs. After a few short moments, she looked you dead in the eyes before jumping on Y/N's side and scratching at her. In a panic, you quickly leaned towards the bratty cat and shooed her away. You failed to realize that your sudden move had awoken Y/N. You sighed with relief, returned to your last position and looked down where the sleeping girl was, only to find her tired (e/c) eyes looking back at you with her face bright red. Your face once again lit up as you tried to explain, but your words only came out as a wreck of mumbling. As she shot up to a sitting position, her forehead smacked against your chin, leaving both of you in pain. She rubbed her sore head, and when she turned back around, you could see that it was already a little bruised.
"Shit, sorry, I'll get you some ice..." You jumped up from the couch and sped to the kitchen. Digging through the freezer in search of the icepack, which was nowhere to be seen, you didn't hear Y/N's footsteps coming towards you.
"Maybe it's in one of the drawers?" You whipped around and jumped about a foot in the air when you saw Y/N standing in the doorway, wrapped in a blanket, the cats following behind her like servants.
"Holy fuck, Y/N, don't creep up on me like that! You scared the living shit out of me!" You sighed and continued looking for the icepack while Y/N smiled at her victory behind you. Discreetly glancing at her, your heart skipped multiple beats when you saw the genuine smile she had. You liked seeing her smile. It made you feel like every little thing was going to be okay. Your mind began to wander as you turned your attention back to finding the icepack.
"How can someone be so... what's the word... incredible? No, that's not it... perfect? Yeah, that'll do. Wait, why does it matter? I don't know anymore..." You found the pack and threw it into the fridge so it could cool for a little bit.
"Shinsou, I'm fine, it's just a little bruise. I've been through worse." Her words shocked you for some odd reason. What did she mean by that? You shot her a questioning look, but she didn't look at your face. She was hiding something, and you were gonna find out if it was the last thing you ever did.
