Training, Training, Training... Indigo was having none of that sh!t. You expect this fancy, beautiful man to train?
"Why do I need to train, I'm already the best" Indigo said proudly. Mint just shook her head.
"Can we find a new teammate? This one's defective." Crimson said with his face in his hands. This had been going on for 30 minutes now. Oliver started to lecture Crimson a bit, but he was kind of looking at Crimson's shoulder.
Suddenly it clicked to Mint, how to get anyone with a big ego to do what you want. Compliment them. "We actually need you to help us train by playing the smartest you can and listening to our tips, because your so good and all" Mint says in an almost smug tone.
"Well why didn't you just say that? Of course I'll show you how good I am. Let's play some turf!" Indigo exclaims.
"You're kidding" Crimson looks at Mint with his mouth hanging open a bit, completely dumbfounded. He gets himself up, "Alright then, let's go"
"Yeah, let's win!" Oliver pipes in, like a little cheerleader.
And so the training begun. They won a few, lost a few dozen. They did learn some stuff and Indigo started to "understand how he is better" with stuff he is "already doing".
"Tommorow is the day the bracket is announced, so does everyone feel prepared?" Mint asked.
Indigo quickly replied, "I have always been pre-" he was interrupted by Crimson.
"Yeah, thanks for asking. I won't be a egotistical b!tch to a nice comment like someone else here" He glares at Indigo.
"Wha- HEY! We agreed you would stop cussing!" Oliver yells and lectures at Crimson a bit more, before turning back to mint. "And yeah, I am ready! Hopefully we won't lose immediately like we do all out other matches!"
"That hurts a bit." Mint says with a bland expression.
"Hmm? What did I do?" Oliver said confused.
"It's nothing, let's all go home and get some rest." Mint says, already walking away and waving bye. Crimson nods his head, grabs Oliver's hand, and walks off. Indigo walks away and makes a few poses while doing so. The tournament day was drawing near.
