Chapter 3. What do you mean I have to take over the company!?!?!

(Mr.Sapphire's pov.)
(The day before the interview)

"What hell do you mean I have to take over the company!?!?!" I said infuriated at my father for making him take over the company.

"I'm sorry son, but you leave me no choice, you've just been hooking up, using girls and going clubbing! You're making the family look bad!!! We need to give you a position in the office so people won't think you're a selfish brat, which I'm starting to think you are." How can my father do this to me? My own flesh and blood!

"I'll try my best to control my needs! But please father give me another chance!" I begged hoping to get another chance.

"No, Dylan you've had to many chances already! And it's too late anyways, tomorrow you will be interviewing people to be your assistant, and you will pick a decent one!"

"Yes father. What time do I have to be at the office?" I replied realizing there is no point I'm arguing with him.

"Be in your office at 8:30, I will see you soon. Goodbye." And with that his father hung up leaving him speechless.

(The day of the interview)

I got to my office at 8:30 just like my father asked me too, and while I waited for my first interview I started going through the files. I randomly picked one and opened it.

Date of birth: September 10, 1990
Place or birth: San Antonio, Texas
Ethnicity: Mexican
Education: 4 years through college studying in business.

I really didn't care who I picked, all my father said was that all I needed to do was pick a decent assistant and so far Ms.Star was on my decent list.

"Dylan, Ms.Star is here to be interviewed for the spot as your assistant." Mrs.Victoria said.

"Okay, please send her in."

Mrs.Victoria had been his fathers assistant for 20 years. She was like a second mother to me, when my mother had passed Mrs.Victoria was there for me instead of my own father, who drowned himself in alcohol. Mrs.Victoria was in her 60s and is getting close to retirement, which meant I couldn't keep her as my assistant.

My thoughts were interrupted when a beautiful woman walked into his office. He assumed this beautiful woman was the one and only Ms.Star.

" Take a seat Ms.Star." I said, she seemed to be startled with my voice. After a few seconds she finally took a seat in front of me.

"Hello I'm-" Julia began to speak but I wasn't so pleased that she walked in with out knocking on the door.

"I know who you are" I stated rudely.

"You're Julia Star, you will be my new assistant, and you will do as I say.... If you fail to do what I say I will fire you." I continued.

"O-okay"

"It's Mr.Sapphire or sir until I say otherwise, understand?" I said trying to sound harsh and scary. Julia nodded her head vigorously which made me laugh on the inside, I didn't like being rude but when people don't knock on the door it's really pushes a nerve.

"Yes s-sir."

"You may go home now Ms.Star you start at 8 o'clock tomorrow, and don't be late!"

"I won't I promise! Thank you sir." And with that Julia left.

I already missed her and I didn't even know the woman. "God I'm crazy" I whispered to himself.

"Mrs.Victoria please come in here!"

"Yes, you called sweetie?" Mrs.Victoria said in her soft lovely voice.

"Yes, I would like you to cancel all my other appointments, I found my assistant already." I said grabbing my suitcase and shutting off my computer.

"I can tell that this woman is gonna have a huge affect on you." She stated with a smirk.

"Is that good or bad?"

"It's good, I can tell you already like her. Am I right?"

This thought made me blush, Mrs.Victoria knew me so well.

"Thought so. That blush answers my question!" She said leaving my office.

I didn't know what I even was thinking that I had a chance with such a beautiful girl like Julia, so he called up his best friend Mikey.

"Hey Mikey." I said surprised he even answered, usually Mikey doesn't answer the phone at this time of day he's usually busy with work.

"Hey Dylan what's up?"

"I was wondering if you wanted to go to the club tonight?"

"Haha sure, you know me I'm always up for a nice party!"

Whenever I wanted to go to a party or club, all I had to do was call Mikey, he had all the club hookups.

"Great which club we going to tonight?"

I never been to the same club twice because of Mikey, he always gets them in trouble and they get kicked out.

"Alex just opened a new club in Times Square, you wanna go?"

Alex was Mikey's brother and he owned a bunch of clubs and bars, so most of the clubs me and Mikey went to we're owned by him.

"Sure, your brother owns the best clubs!"

It was true Alex's clubs had the best music and alcohol.

"Okay I'll see you at your place at 8 o'clock." Mikey said.

"Okay bye"

That means that I had a couple of hours to get some lunch, and stop by my mothers grave.
