Chapter 5. Meeting Mikey

(Julia's POV)

Susie and I decided that we were going to a club in Times Square in stead of the one that we usually go to in New Jersey. We took a cab to the club and once we got there, we showed the bouncer out IDS. They let us in with out any hesitation. As soon as I got in the club I went straight to the bar.

"Can I help you?" The bartender asked.

"Yeah I'll have six shots."

"Six shots coming right up!"

I was looking around the club when I hear the bartender talking to me. "He sweetie you're drinks are ready!"

"Thanks. Bye!" I waved to the bartender as I left, to the table that Susie was currently sitting at. As I approached her I said "hey beautiful, I've got out drinks!!!". Susie let out a loud cheer in agreement.

I immediately took my three shots and started heading to the dance floor. Tonight was my night to celebrate it and no one was going to ruin it.

(Susie's POV)

Once I got into the club with Julia I knew that tonight was going to be one hell of a night. She was pumped and ready to get her groove on, I turned around to tell her that we should find a table, but she wasn't there. I looked around the club from my spot, I eventually found her talking to a bartender. I'm surprised she didn't go straight for the dance floor.

When she got the drinks she immediately came to the table and drowned her drinks. After her three shots, she shook her head and headed to the dance floor. I didn't take my shots because I knew Julia was going to need a sober ride home.

"Hey you wanna dance?" I turned around to see one of the most beautiful guys I've ever seen. He was tall, had muscle but not too much, with dark brown hair with green eyes. He was dressed in dark denim jeans, and a dark red shirt with the sleeves pulled up to his elbows.

"Just let me know when you're done checking me out, so I can ask you to dance with me, again." I'm pretty sure I just turned as red as a plumb....

"I- I would love to dance" blushed as I tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear

"Okay then, let's go!" He grabbed my hand and we headed for the dance floor.

Soon after we got done dancing we went back to the table. Turns out this guy is pretty sweet. He's not like the other guys I've met at a club before. "So what's your name?" I asked breaking the silence.

"My names Mikey Lockheart" , what about you?"

"I'm Susie Duval"

"Nice to meet you Susie" Mikey extended his hand for a handshake, which I gladly took.

"Nice to meet you too Mikey."

"So Susie, who are you here with? Mom? Sister? Brother? Boyfriend?"

"Haha neither. I'm here with my best friend Julia. She got a job today and she wanted to celebrate, so I took her out tonight as a treat. How about you, who are you here with? Mom? Girlfriend?"

"Haha non of the above, I'm also here with my best friend, his names Dylan."
