Lily's Point Of View

I ran until I found the house I was looking for. It looked like any other house, but I knew what lay behind the walls. I braced myself and walked up to the front door. I took a breath in and knocked, preparing for a tall girl with brown hair and makeup to answer the door and bombard me with questions. Instead I found myself face-to-face with a boy.

"Hey" He said slowly. "How are you?"

   "Tired"

   "You ran?"

   "Not all the way"

   "Trouble?"

   "Yeah"

"Come in" He opened the door and let me in. I walked in and looked around. I breathed in the comforting scent of vanilla. The house look almost exactly as I remembered it. The pictures that hung by the stairs were updated, but that was the only change. He walked to the kitchen and I followed. I took a seat at the Island while the boy got two cups of water and four oatmeal creme pies.

I let out a little laugh "You obviously didn't forget me"

"Of course not, how can I forget the girl who lives in the past"

"I guess that's hard, but I can only assume time works differently. I was there for about a year and you haven't changed at all."

   "Neither have you"

He takes a seat next to me and looks me in the eyes. He seems to be pleading with me, but I have no idea what he wants. I decided to be the bigger person and ask, "What do you want?"

   "I want information"

"On what 1899?" I let out a little laugh

"On what happened to make you come here. You don't normally leave unless things are bad"

I sighed. "Okay, but only because you know about me." I took a breath in before continuing. "Erica brought a girl and two boys back to 1899 and I think that Mason followed them somehow because he showed up shortly after they arrived" He gasped at this but didn't say anything. "We got away and came home and I ran to his bedroom. Erica came up and we talked, but that end badly, so I ran to the park and then ran here. Don't worry, they still don't know that you know." He smiled at this, happy to hear he wasn't found out.

   "Wow"

Alex's Point Of View

My shock of seeing Lily at my door has floated away. I honestly am scared for her and think it is time to reveal our secret because Mason is her brother. I watched her take a sip of water and waited until she swallowed to say anything.

I opened my mouth to say something, but my mom walked and and upon seeing Lily she exclaimed, "Lily! How lovely it is to see you my dear!"

Lily beamed and said, "It is amazing to see you as well. How are you?"

   "I am well, and yourself?"

   "I'm well"

My mom looks over at me and says, "I presume you are treating our guest well" Then she laughs like that is somehow funny. I feel a bit of red creep up to my cheeks because Lily has to see this side of my mother. "Oh I know you are" My mom says before the starts to make her way out of the kitchen. She runs into my father and says "Hello!"

My father mumbles out a "Hey" before walking past my mom into the kitchen with tired eyes. He grabs the milk and pours himself a glass. At this moment he notices Lily and says to her, "Nice to meet you. I am Alex's father."

"Nice to meet you sir." My father walks out and back to his office. Once her is out of sight I turn to Lily with what I hope is a surprised look. If it isn't, I look really stupid right now.

Ben's Point Of View

I know it was wrong, But Erica hadn't come down and Lily is her sister. Lily must be more like Alexander than Catherine because she didn't know I was following her. Unless she did know and just pretended she didn't see me. The second one makes the most sense, after all I have seen her in action.

I decided that the only way to figure out what was going on in there was to ring the doorbell and hope that I get let in. I look both ways, then cross the street. Walking up to the door I pray that this will work. I ring the bell.

A boy comes to answer the door. Before the door opens I overhear his conversation. "You have to tell me" He says.

"Let's see who it is and forget about it. I can go home." I jump when I hear Lily because it means I have the right house.

"We see who it is and then you text me and tell me what happened."

"After we see who it is we compromise"

"Fine" The door opens and the boy smiles at me before turning to Lily, "Do you know him"

"That is Ben" She says matter of factly.

"That isn't Ben. Ben lives there" The boy points to a house down the street.

   "I'm a different Ben" I pipe up.

"I got that" the boy snapped. Lily put a hand on his should and pushes in front of him.

"Why did you follow me? And why did you think i hadn't know you were there?" I gulped because Lily knew how to read minds.

I may or may not have panicked a little. "Well your not like your father."

Lily glared at me. "One he isn't my father. Number two I am nothing like him." I nodded like I understood. Lily looked back at the boy and nodded. She then turned to me and said, "Let's go." She walked right past me and down the boy's driveway. The boy in tow after he made sure the door was closed.

When Lily and the boy got to the road they turned to me and Lily said, "Well? Are you waiting for a limo? COME ON!" I quickly ran to catch up with them and we walked back to Lily's house.
