Bestie

Y/n's POV

Y/n is hanging out with her best friend Izuku. They haven't seen each other all summer since he's been training really hard. But, he told y/n that today was gonna be their day. Though, y/n has no idea what he has planned.

You walk up to Midoriya's front door, and knock a couple of times. His mother opens the door, and smiles at you.

"Good morning y/n Izuku is in his room sleeping still. If you want, you can try and wake him up."
"Oh wow, yeah i'll go wake him."
After giving her a tight hug, you walk over to the familiar door. All decorated with posters of All Might. You knock 3 times to make sure he isn't awake getting dressed or anything like that. You cautiously and quietly take a seat next to him on the bed, and try your best to awaken him.

"Zuzu wake up." You say in a singsongy voice while rubbing his back, your curly hair brushing the side of his face. He groans and rolls over.

"Come on zu it's already almost 11. I wanna hang out." You play in his hair as you call his name a couple more times. He slowly opens his eyes and smiles a bit, as you continue to play with his fluffy green locks.

"Good morning Izuku"
Izuku: Hey y/n. He says tiredly, while burying his head back into his pillow.

"I have an idea of something we can do today."
"And what might that be?"
"I'll tell you if you get out the bed."
Izuku slowly sits up in bed, still rubbing his tired eyes, trying to wake himself up. You smile at him and pick up your bag off the floor. Before you got to Izuku's, you stopped off at a store to pick up a couple of things.

"Okay, now that you're up, I bought cake mix!"
"Cake mix?"
"Yeah. Something we can do today is bake a cake."
"A-are you sure? You know how clumsy I am when it comes to baking."
"It'll be fine. You're a pretty good baker either way."
"Okay, i'll go get dressed." He groans while rolling out of bed
You walk out of the bedroom, and into the living room where you sit with Izuku's mom, who is getting ready to leave for work.

"Make sure Izuku doesn't get into any trouble."
"I will. Bye mom."
She waves to you as she closes up the front door. You sit around on your phone, waiting for Midoriya to finish doing his morning routine. A couple of minutes later, you hear him walking out of his room.

"Y/n! I'm all finished."
"Okay well let's get started on this baking."
You and Izuku spend almost an hour just trying to make the cake batter. Izuku kept saying that he should crack the eggs, only to get the shells in it each time. Then you accidentally added 2 cups of milk instead of one, so y'all had to pour it out while trying to keep the cake mix in the bowl. You finally got it onto the mixer, and got the mix into 2 cake pans. Now we wait.

"Well, now that that's over with, do you wanna watch a movie in my room." Izuku asks while washing his hands off in the kitchen sink.
"Sure."You say while skipping back into Izuku's room.
You start watching some random movie, and a scene that was a bit...graphic comes up.

"O-oh... OH. Um maybe- w-we can just watch something else. heh."
You try to hide the embarrassment on your face. You can't help but giggle, watching Izuku go completely red from the scene in the movie. He scrambles to change the movie, and takes a deep breath out, when he gets to a better movie.
