Shoto wakes up to see you still fast asleep, laying comfortably on his chest. He smiles and gently rubs your back, wanting for you to rest away the pain. Soon enough your eyes flutter open, and you look up at him.

"Good morning. Feeling any better?"
You nod your head yes as you rub your tired eyes, and try to wake yourself up so you don't have to bother Todoroki anymore by laying on him. You attempt to push yourself up, but your body is still weak.

"Hey, don't force yourself. You got hit really hard y/n. It's fine if you keep laying here for a while."
"Okay." You respond as you lay your head back down on the boy's chest.

"You hungry?" He asks, pulling out his phone, and getting ready to order some food.
"Not really."
"You sure? You probably need to get some food in your stomach."
"I'm really not."
"You really need to eat y/n. What's your favorite?"
"(f/f) I guess."
"Got it. You might need to change out the bandages by now right?"
"Oh, yeah that completely slipped my mind."
"Don't worry, I'll get the stuff." He carefully gets out of the bed and goes to retrieve some new bandages, alcohol and ointment.

"Is it okay if I use this? I didn't last night because I was afraid it might sting too much on your open wounds." He says, holding up the bottle of alcohol. You nod your head in approval, and he comes to sit next to you. Before he can say it, you lift up your shirt and watch as he unwraps the old bandages, and starts to put some alcohol onto a cotton ball. He looks up at you for approval before dabbing it over the wounded and bruised areas. You wince a little at the pain, meaning you still do have some open cuts or wounds.

"Sorry. I'm trying to be careful. It'll only hurt for a couple more seconds. " After a while more, the pain slowly fades away, and Shoto rubs some ointment over the affected areas on your skin. He then wraps it up with the bandage and sits back, looking at you to make sure you're okay.

"All good?"
"Mhmm."
"Good. Um, it's okay for me to still...be here, right?"
"Of course it is. No hero duties yet, so...I mean, I thought you could just spend the day here. Or however long you really want. I really don't mind."
"Okay. I didn't wanna overstay my welcome or anything."
"No, never. You're always welcome here. We're friends right?"
"Y-yeah...friends." He starts to get a little awkward, confusing you a bit.

You then wonder if he doesn't really consider you guys friends. Or if he doesn't actually wanna stay over, and is just being friendly. For the most part he's really the only person you speak to. Other than you boss and occasionally family members, Shoto became a friend of yours. You're always doing hero work together pretty much every other day, and sometimes hang out together afterwards. With hopes that your friendship is not one sided, you decide to ignore his awkwardness, and go on about the rest of your day. You both use the bathroom and come back to chill on the bed again.

"So what do you usually do in your free time Shoto?"
"Uh, nothing really. I sleep...eat...oh, I hang out with you."
"Well you're already hanging out with me, so what do you wanna do today."
"I know we shouldn't go out. You're still badly injured, Y/n. I really don't want you to hurt yourself."
"That cancels out a bunch of activities."
"Sorry, I just don't wanna be responsible for any more of the pain you feel. We could always do something here."His eyes search around your bedroom, looking for something to do.
