When Adrien woke up, it wasn't to Marinette or the light from the blinds opening. It was the sound of a scream. Nathalie's scream. "Nathalie?!" The blonde yells as he jumps out of bed. He swings the door open, Nathalie stands in Marinette's doorway. A fear he never knew he had shook the boy to his core. "Nathalie... are you okay?"
"You're father is going to kill me... I lost one of our best warriors." Tears were present on the assistants face. Adrien pushes her aside to see for himself. She wasn't in there. Maybe she just left early? No one would have taken her...
"What is the meaning of all of this ruckus?" Adrien's father asks, emerging from the stairs. He hesitates walking further when he sees where we stand. "Where is she?!" He yells. Adrien shrives. "Nathalie, find her." Like that the assistant was down the stairs, no way she would disobey orders. "Adrien, stay here. She may come back. If she does, tell her I would like to speak with her at once. I am going to contact the base." Adrien nods. The boy had no knowledge of the bluenettes value to the Rebellion.
"Marinette?" Adrien questions to the obviously empty room. His green eyes were barely recognizable through his large pupils. When Adrien turns around he notices the empty spot where her phone used to be. The boy had a plan.

Marinette was practicing. She was ready to fight. She was ready to get Adrien out of that awful place. "Marinette," it was Alya. "I'd like you to meet some people." Marinette turns around to Alya motioning her through the door. She follows.. never take too much time the girl recalls, taking too much time has great repercussions.
The room Alya took Marinette to looked like a dining hall. The one you see in those high school movies. Inside sat 3 people and a robot of some sort. "Marinette, I would like you to meet the Force's captains. Each specializes in a different thing." Alya walks over to a boy with a tan complexion and red hat. "This is Nino. He works on studying the human mind to figure out what music stimulates it during battle." Nino waves at Marinette. "This is Max and Marcov." Alya was now over by a boy with curly black hair, a green shirt, and a robot friend. "Marcov is our whole system, you heard me speak to him when I showed you.. you know. Max's job is to keep our tech up and running." He waves as well, a bright smile received. "And finally... the muscle." The boy was tall, not super skinny but not muscular either. "You can call him Kim." This one gives Marinette a hug. "The reason you are meeting them now, is you have a mission. Tonight is your official meeting with the Cat Miraculous holder. Your goal is to find out who he is, even if it means revealing yourself." Marinette wasn't phased by this. What could a dude in a cat costume do?
____
"Adrien!" This was the white kwami. Adrien found himself sprawled on his bed, worried for his best friend. "Chat Blanc, you have to meet Ladybug tonight. Your goal is to find out who she is, even if it means revealing yourself too. After your mission, I informed your father that you will be meeting with him to discuss her identity, but not yours. And make sure to tell the little lady, if your identity slips out of her lips, hers will too." Adrien nods along to Plagg's words.

The Eiffel Tower was where they were set to meet. It was neutral ground. Untouchable by both sides. As long as that stood, people from the outside wouldn't interfere. Ladybug was the first to arrive. She sat peacefully on the bench knowing that the Force was keeping a close eye on her. Something tells her that these people aren't as accepting of her presence as they seem. When Chat Blanc hits the concrete, Ladybug jumps up. "You're very pretty for a warrior," the cat says, chin resting on his baton.
"And you're very- yeah I got nothing.." Ladybug looks at the ground, she was used to Adrien standing up for her. The cat examines her, she was more frail then most of the Force soldiers he had seen.
"So... Ladybug.. that's your name right?" The girl nods. "Well I'm Chat Blanc, and I believe you know why we are both here."
"I believe I do. So Kitty," Ladybug circles him trying to throw him off guard, after one more time around she stops at his chest and grabs his chin, "what's your real name?" Ladybug doesn't let go of his chin.
"Why would I tell you?" The cat looks for something, Adrien was used to Marinette's nice touch and her kind words, he didn't know how to sound strong.
"I'm sure we have something you want, something we stole from you." The blue eyed girl takes her hand off of the boys chin and turns, leaning on the rail.
"You do." Chat Blanc said this with more force, they had Marinette. "I will tell you my identity if you expose the location of Marinette Dupian-Cheng." Chat Blanc watches Ladybugs eyes go big. "So you do have her!"
"No- no, I just have heard about her mother Sabine and the great warrior she was," the girl makes the same hand gesture Marinette always made when she wanted to say no. The cat stood there in shock.
"What did they do to you Marinette?" The boy was hurt.
"Adrien?" Marinette looked at him, longing for a no. She couldn't fight her best friend.
"Marinette? Are they threatening to hurt you... I promise, we can get you back safe and sound." Adrien reached for her hands, drawing her in... Marinette allowed it. She liked the idea of going back. Adrien pulled her into a hug, stroking the back of her head. "Mari?"
"Come with me Adrien," Marinette held onto him tighter than she ever had, "the Rebellion... they killed my mom. I went missing when I was five, THEY STOLE ME. Adrien please..." Marinette pauses again bringing the cat out of the embrace and putting her hands on his shoulders, "I know you aren't a bad person." The blue eyes of the cat were pondering his next move, he couldn't leave his father.
"I'm sorry Marinette." The cat whispers, holding onto her hand a little longer than they should have, and like how he came, she never saw him leave.
