~darling when im fast asleep i see this person watching me saying, "is it worth it? is it worth it? tell me, is it worth it?"~
*FEW WEEKS AFTER PRESENT TIME*
bokuto stayed shut in his house
never left his bed unless he needed to do bathroom things
he stopped going to school
he stopped answering his phone
he just layed in bed
crying
or thinking
but one day he heard a knock on his door.
no one came to see him anymore so he thought it was the food he ordered
he walked down seeing akaashi opening the door with the spare key he gave him
he looked..
perfect
bokuto went down to akaashi slowly
"w-what"
bokuto's voice was dry and raspy
he hasnt spoken in weeks, not surprising
akaashi walked in without invitation and closed the door
"we need to talk"
bokuto sighed
"i told you-"
"you never told me that you.. yknow"
"aww are you too afraid to say it"
bokuto rolled his eyes and got a glass of water keeping his distance from the other male.
"you shouldnt be here you-"
"yeah yeah i should be with my girl but i want to fix our friendship, you are my best friend after all"
ouch
friend zone
a huge stab to the heart
bokuto laughed dryly, almost lifeless
"is it worth it?"
akaashi raised an eyebrow
"what?"
"is it worth it? tell me keiji is it worth it to fix us?!"
akaashi didnt know how to respond
he was still confused because what did bokuto mean?
of course it was worth it
but maybe he's thinking of the wrong reason
"get out and leave your key under the mat. thats if you still have it"
bokuto went upstairs leaving akaashi there with his thoughts until he soon left
