~because there is something, and there is nothing. there is nothing in between~

a few days later bokuto decided to actually get out of the house

he freshened up and went to his favorite park

why was it his favorite?

thats where he met akaashi

everything he did reminded him of akaashi

after all akaashi was everywhere he went

like now.

there he was with that girl again

on a.. picnic date

"youre so cu- bokuto?"

bokuto tried to hide as much tears as he could while trying to get away but akaashi of course followed

"bokuto it is you!"

he stopped in his tracks

"go back to your date"

akaashi turned him around

"youre crying.. why? did something happen?"

"gosh youre so stupid keiji."

bokuto wiped his face

"go."

"why cant i check on you?"

bokuto leaned against a tree staring at the sky

"well.. we're nothing anymore"

akaashi tilted his head to the side confused

"bokuto i already said-"

bokuto cuts him off quickly

"there is something."

he pointed to akaashi's girlfriend

"and there is nothing"

he then pointed to himself more tears forming in his eyes

"there is nothing in between.. us anymore"

he gestured to them barely making out his words.

"bokuto.."

"goodbye keiji"

he walked off away from the park

he didnt know where he was going he just needed to be away

just for now
