CHAPTER 5

Zara's POV

I just couldn't believe my dad. If he thinks he is getting me off this assignment then he had another thing coming. All I had do was to get the document for my father. It was my only chance for me to really prove myself to him. I was so busy thinking that I didn't hear my dad coming into my office.

"Zara how are things going," he said sitting down.

" Not even a good morning dad, wow," I said with sacarsm. " I already know that the documents are with Devin all I have to do is extract the where about of the documents from him.

"Are you sure you can get the information from him. Because my informat said that all you do is bicker with him over unnecessary things. I know you hate him but we have better things to focus on. And I shot your play thing when I went to your house. So if you go home don't be shocked." He said getting up from his seat and heading towards the door.

This is the fifth time he had shot one of my favorite pets. I know he didn't like me having guys coming in and out of my house but it was my damn life.

He turned to look at me a serious expression on his face,"And don't forget to come home today. I have a guest coming and for the love of God please don't embarrass me this time." He closed the door behind him. The last time we had dinner together things didn't go as planned.

Flashback

"Dad I am home." I headed towards the kitchen to see my ex boyfriend chatting with my dad. He wore an expensive gucci suit, his hair neatly trimmed and he was looking handsome as always.

"Hello Ben, why are you in my house, I thought you said the day you will lay eyes on me again you would run around the whole town naked. So why are you just standing there,start removing your clothes you know I am always ready for a show.

"Zara he is our guest behave yourself. I am very sorry for her behavior Benjamin. She isn't normally like this. Follow me to my office," Turning to look at me " Call us when the food I ready.

Twenty minutes later

"Dad the food is done come down," I yelled out.

We all sat down and our food was served.

My dad cleared his throat and started a conversation with Ben.

" So now Ben are you still single. I heard your last relationship didn't go well".

"Well the girl I was dating thought it was fun to cheat on me. So I had no choice but to break up with her. But I still think of her." He said the last words looking at me.

"Well I heard she cheated on you because you have a small dick. You can't blame her, I would have done the same thing," I said taking a piece of meat and putting it in my mouth. My dad didn't know I once dated Ben and the girl he was talking about was me.

"Zara behave yourself. So back to question," he said looking at him " Are you still single."

" Yes I am." He responded.

"Wow that's amazing. You know Zara talks about you all the time. Why don't you guys talk. I am going to bed early, I have an important meeting tomorrow."  He got up and kissed my head leaving us alone.

"So Zara do you still like me."  He said seductively. "You know I can't forget you. And the sex , mind blowing so why don't you get back together with me." He stood up walking towards me and trying to open my back zip. I removed his hand, slapped him and poured my wine on him.

"If you ever touch me again I will make you regret it." I said my voice going hard. I walked away from him and headed towards the stairs. I turned to look at him, an angry expression on his face.

"And the only reason I broke up with you was because of the bet. You think I would never find out. I knew about it from the very beginning. And if I were you I will get ready for what is coming. Soon your company will me mine."
