I pout as my parents sit in front of me together as I have to share the other seat with someone. My eyes scan the passengers and quite surprise when I see the guy I met an hour ago.
The guy walks towards my seat and our eyes met, I hastily look away staring at the airport employees assisting the plane to get aboard.
“Hi, may I?”
“Huh?” I look at the guy and simply nodded my head.
Hearing the flight attendant's announcement, we fasten our seatbelts as the engine started to rev.
“So, you like the cat?” the guy opens the conversation.
“Huh?” I said looking at the guy clueless.
“The cat.” he smiles and I snap my fingers awkwardly letting out a chuckle.
“Quite so. I love cats.” I said showing an awkward smile.
“I'm Jimin by the way.” he said handing his hand over to me.
“Chaewon.” I shake his hand and quickly settles as mom turn her head to us.
“Hi, I'm Chaewon's mother.” Mom said smiling at Jimin's.
I feel so embarrassed as dad doing the same thing. I facepalm as they began to chatter quite loudly. I look around and thank God everyone's busy.
“Mom.” I interrupt their conversation.
“See you by the way.” Mom said before settling down on her seat.
Exhaling the fresh air as we finally reach the place we're going to stay in, I draw a smile on my lips as I find the place so relaxing.
“Hope you enjoy this summer vacation Chaewon.” Dad said as they walk inside.
I decided to stay outside getting mesmerized by the view and the ambience of the place then hears a meow. I look around looking for a cat and walk away.
“Where is that meow coming from?” I said to myself as I keep on walking and looking for traces of cat.
I stop as I saw the same kitten at the airport.
“Are you the same kitten back then?” I ask and the kitten runs towards me again rubbing its head on my jeans. “Oh, I guess it's you.”
“He misses you then.”
I almost jump on my place when and I heard Jimin's voice, my eyes slightly grow big realizing we are in the same place.
“What are you doing here?” I ask and Jimin chuckles.
“It's summer. Had time to relax.” he answers picking up the kitten.
“In this place? Really?” I snicker looking away from him.
“Yep. Guess we're neighbours for a while.” he said letting out a sigh.
“Hope you're not that annoying.” I roll my eyes fiddling my fingers on my earphones.
“I won't be. See you soon.” Jimin said and walk away.

I scrunch my nose as I felt something booping my nose. My eyes kept shut, but this thing suddenly bites my nose. Cuss panned out from my mouth and saw the calico kitten, he's already wearing a collar.
“What are you doing here? Did I leave my-”
I stop talking when I saw Jimin sitting there looking at me.
“What are you doing here?” I ask and the kitten laid down on my sheet purring.
“Your mom let me in.” he answered as he stands up dragging the chair next to my bed. “Your parents invited us for dinner.” he added petting the kitten.
“And they let you in here?” I ask and he shakes his head.
“I followed Yeoreum here.” he answered shifting his eyes to mine.
I look away hearing his sharp breath echoes through my ears.
“What are your plans?” he asks breaking the silence.
“Uhm. Just binge-watching. I guess.” I answered shrugging my shoulders.
“Let's go somewhere tomorrow.” he said patting my shoulder as he leaves my room.
