Jimin's

I stand up from my bed as Yeoreum meows for food. I scoop some of his dry food and let him eat on the top of my table. My room is viewing Chaewon's place then see her open the door stepping out. Watching from my room, I saw this guy walk in then kiss her hastily.

The feeling of stopping them is urging me to do it, but I remain calm still watching them what will happen next. But the next thing I knew, I am standing in front of their gate hearing their voices. Her cries urge me to knock on the gate and I did.

The gate swings, and it shows her crying, I hastily pulled her to me as this guy step out from their place shaking his head to us then leave. Her body is shaking in fear. I help her to get inside and settles her down on the sofa bringing her a glass of water.

“Who's he?” I ask, and she wipes her tears away from her cheek.

“Jeong-hoon, my ex-boyfriend.” she asserted between her little sobs. “He just shows up here.”

“What do you want to do then?” I ask rubbing her back to comfort her.

“I don't know. I am trying to move on. It's been two years since we broke up, but I can't just pass over by it.” she sniffles as she gazes at me with her teary eyes.

“I'll help you move on.” I said and she softly cackles shaking her head.

“You are doing it.”

Her eyes stared unto mine's, she is really hurting. I move towards her hugging her, and she starts to cry again. Caressing her is the only thing that I can think of for a moment. We stayed like that for a moment, and she just fell asleep on my chest.

I admire her for being a strong woman, she never mentioned this to me. The door opens and her parents walk-in looking at us. I settle her down on the sofa and approach them.

“What happened?” her mom asks looking at me with a worried face.

“Jeong-hoon's been here. Must be tough for her.” I said and her dad gestures me to talk with him.

We both sit on the swing as the silence covers us.

“She's been struggling for two years.” her dad opens as the breeze blows.

“Two years? That's very long.” I said and he chuckles sighing.

“Please do whatever makes her happy for this certain time. I want her to forget everything behind and start anew. I hate seeing my daughter like this.” he said standing up before gazing back to me. “Take care of her.” he added then leave.

“Hey, thank you for that.” she said as we both sat in the car trunk gazing at the stars.

“No problem. Will be here 'til your vacation ends.” I said tracing the stars with my fingers.

“Do you drink?” she suddenly asks, and I look at her.

“Sometimes, why?” I said and she glances at me smiling.

“Let's drink.” she said sitting up stretching her back.

I drive away and stop by this bar near our place. She excitedly hops out from the car and walk-in. I find her already in the bar sitting as she watches the bartender mixing some drinks.

I sit down beside her as she laughs keeping herself entertained.

“What do you want?” she asks, and I shrug. “I'll get us vodka or whiskey if you want.”

“Whatever you want.” I said still watching her as she watches the bartender.

Time is ticking, and she's getting sober and drowsy, I used to stop her, but she can't until she passed out. I carry her through the car, and she started to squirm.

“Hey, don't squirm.” I said and she laughs.

“Just put me down. I can walk.” she said smelling the strong alcohol from her mouth.

“You drank too much.” I said putting her down.

She turns around facing me, her face is rosy as she struggles to stand firmly. Walking towards me, she pokes my nose as she chuckles.

“You know? I do really like you. I love those surprises you're doing every 3 AM.” she said between her hiccups.

“Glad you do.” I said assisting her, she's moving a lot.

“How I wish this summer will not be as cruel as before.” she said then pass out again.
