I sit in the living room staring blankly on the television screen, his voice echoing in my ears telling me he likes me. He likes me? What for? We just met. And it's been just a week.

“How's with Jimin?”

Mom just pops out of nowhere giving me a glass of lemonade as she sits down beside me. I sigh curling myself into a ball rocking myself back and forth.

“Are you okay?”

“I don't know mom.” I answer sighing over and over again.

“You like him don't you?” she ask, and I shake my head exaggeratedly. “Honey, that's okay. You can open your heart again.”

“No mom. I can't.” I said as I lay on her lap seeking comfort.

“Just try.” she mutter playing the strands of my hair. “Sometimes, trying is worth it.”

After that heart-to-heart talk with my Mom, I decided to open one of my social media accounts and found a message from my ex-boyfriend.

Kang Jeong-hoon

It's been two years since we broke up, and I'm still missing you. Hoping to talk with you.

Saw your mom's post. You're in Jeju? Will be there too tomorrow.

I sigh as I see him typing for another message. What does he want? I can't meet him like this. I can still remember how he hurts me back then. He just crashed my whole heart.

I exit my account as I heard the doorbell ring. I get up from the sofa opening the door hoping it's Jimin. As I open the gate, I saw him. Jeong-hoon. He turns around showing a smile, I lightly smile back at him as he walks towards me.

“How are you?” he asks still have this feeling of grief from him.

“I'm good. What brings you here?” I ask as he scratches his eyebrow awkwardly.

“Uhm. Here to see you. I want to talk about it.” he said kicking a pebble out of his way.

“Come in then.”

I let him in to show some respect and hospitality, he's older than me by the way. As I close the gate, he quickly shoves me closer to him kissing me torridly.

Tears falling from my eyes as pain strikes my heart. Stabbing it once more. I tried to pull away, but his clutch is getting tight. His lips still unto mine attempting me to kiss him back.

With the strength, I finally gathered I push him away crying. Tears continuously falling from my eyes.

“Look, I'm sorry.” he said trying to hold me back.

“Get out.” I said between my cries.

“I'm sorry. I really do. Please let's talk about this.” he said still trying to hold me.

“Talk about what? You crushed me into pieces, and you're coming back like there's nothing happened?!” I exclaim and hearing a knock on the gate. I run to it and Jimin is there standing.

Jimin instantly pulls me beside him as Jeong-hoon step out from the gate, he just gazes at us shaking his head then leave.
