"Home sounds good"

A few weeks later Brandon and Callie came up with an arrangement that he could take the kids every other day for four hours and every other weekend.It was Saturday and Brandon was at the house to pick up the kids for the night

"Hi"she greeted him

"Hi, how are you?"he asked 

"Fine and you?"she asked in return

"I'm good, are my munchkins ready"he asked 

"Michael is excited and I can't really tell if the girls are excited but the seem smiley today"she laughed 

"They take after you always happy"he smiled

"Here is all their things if you need anything that I might have forgotten just call"

"I think we should be fine I don't want to bother when it is my turn to take care of them"

"I'll go get them"she told him

She returned with Michael running in as fast as his little legs could take him

"Daddy"he screamed 

Brandon grabbed in a big bear hug"Hey Buddy you readdy to spend some time with and you sisters too"he asked 

Michael nodded 

"There are my princesses"he said to the girls"I know Daddy just saw you but you two have gotten so big"he told them knowing they had no clue what he was saying

"They get that from you"Callie said with a laugh

"So any plans for you"he asked out of curiosity 

"Just lunch with Jude"she told him

"I would tell you to say for me but I think he still hates me"

"He is just protective of thats all he doesn't like seeing me hurt,he'll come around after he sees me like my old self again"she told him

After helping him get the kids in the car Callie kissed them goodbye and went in the house.She slid down the door and cried.She knew has been going on for weeks it still hurt that her family was falling apart.

She had been crying for awhile that she didn't hear the doorbell go off

"Callie its me you in there"Jude called out

She slowly got up and opened the door and looked right in her brothers eyes

"What he do now"Jude asked as he saw the tears coming down his sister's face

"He didn't do anything he just picked up the kids for the night and it just hit me this is going to be my life now.This back and forth thing no more family time alll together"

Jude wrapped his strong arms around her"It doesn't have to be thow you can fix this"

"Did I just hear you say the F word"she smiled "You really don't like him right now"

"I don't like what he did to you but he comes over with the kids sometimes and talks alot about how he misses the your company and the laughter.I see how torn up he is about what he did and if he didn't love you I don't think he would be trying to get what he lost"

"Really?"she asked 

"Really so when you are ready just give him a chance"he told her

"So you ready for lunch"he asked 

"Ya let me go get my purse"she told him

"I know you wanted it to just be you and me but Sophia asked how you were and I invited her is that ok"
