"this isn't forever just until the bruises heal"

Brandon arrived at the hospital and saw his mother looking threw the window he assumed was Callie's.

"Mom"he whispered 

Stef turned to see her son looking scared"Oh honey"she hugged  him

"Is she ok"

"I'm not so sure honey when I got to the house she was freaking out,she made sure he didn't hurt the kids.She told me he raped her but now "she stopped 

"What, what happened "

"She wont talk she just sits there no movement so indication she is in there its like she is gone"

"She opened up to me before maybe she will do it again"

"Lets hope so because the police need her statment to get this bastard"

"Can I go see her"he asked

"Go honey I know you are anxious to see her go see your Callie"she gave him a small smile

Brandon opened the door and saw Callie lying in bed she had cuts and brusies all of her body.He thought how can someone hurt this woman he loved,she is the kindest person you could meet.

"Callie"he whispered

She turn and saw her best friend standing in the door way "I'm sorry"she cried

He rushed over to her and held her tight to him"I's not your fault"he said as he rested his chin on her head

"I didn't fight him""

"Its ok it might have been worse if you did "

"I was afraid that the kids would come down and see or he might have hurt them if I fought him"

"Its ok you're ok now bhe is not gonna hurt you anymore I wont let him"

They lied in bed for quiet a while

"Brandon"

"Yes he looked over at her

"When I get out of here I'm not gonna go with you "

Brandon was in shock

" Why not"he asked 

"I don't want the kids to see me like this I want to go stay with you/our Moms"

"Whatever you want"he pulled into a hug then tried to kiss her

She pulled away"I'm sorry,I'm not ready for that"

It broke his heart but he understood"No its ok its just a habit, you take you time"

After two days in the hospital Callie was discharged.Brandon was driving Callie to Stef and Lena's 

"You know its ok to ask for help I really think you should go see someone like thew doctor suggested"

"I don't need to talk to someone ok just drop it I've been through this I know how to cope with ok"

"Callie its just you and me you can tell me the real reason you don't want to see  someone"he looked over at her 

"How is it gonna look Brandon I got raped by the same guy TWICE"

"But that is not your fault and they help you cope with that to understand it"

"I'm fine ok can we just drive in silence please"

Brandon helped Callie  into the house 

"We are here"Brandon yelled 

Stef came out from the kitchen

"Hey my babies"she came up to them

"Are you sure this is ok me staying here"she asked in a quiet voice 

"Of course its ok love"she gave her a warm smile"Mama is back at the house with the kids"

Callie nodded 

"I'll go put your bags in your old room"Brandon said as he left the room

"Callie I know this is hard for you but I want tell you something don't shut everyone out who love you its gonna take time but I know you, you don't let anything break you spirit"she brushed a strain of hair out of her face"

"I'm the one keeps it together for everyone but right now I can't do it"she fell into Stef's arms

Brandon walk back down and saw Callie crying he just wished this was not real and Callie didn't have to go through this

"Hey"he broke his silence"I just wanted to ask what do you want me to tell the kids when I go home with out you "

"I don't know,just tell them I went on a weekend trip with Mariana"

He nodded

Callie got up and walked over to him.She put her hands on his cheeks"Hey ,this isn't forever just until the bruises heal"

"Can I call you every night maybe the kids can call you"

"I like that"she smiled

"C'mom I'll help you to your room"he guided her up to the room.He saw how much pain she was in,she tried to hide it but he could tell"Hey you ok"he looked at her

"I'm fine don't worry I'm just tried"

"I'll always worry about you"he told her

She looked away"I'm tired"

"You go rest I'll talk to you later"

"Fine" 

He went to kiss her but she turned away

"Bye"he said and left

Callie sat on the bed and curled up and cried in pain when she moved and drifted off to sleep

Later that night Stef and Lena were sitting on the couch talking

"So are the kids ok"Stef asked 

"They miss Callie Brandon tried to keep a brave face on for them,I hate this Callie doesn't deserve this, how did he get out of jail"

"I don't know,but I'm worried about her"

"Me too honey"she held her close

"I get why she wants to heal away from the kids but Brandon is her rock why wont she lean on him we could've taken the kids for her"

"She didn't want that Stef and we need to respect that"

"I'm just afraid we will lose the Callie we love"

 They were just sitting on the couch reading when they heard the awful scream come from upstairs

"CALLIE"they both yelled and ran upstairs and saw her thrashing around

"Stop it you are hitting me"she begged

Stef grabbed her arms to stop her from moving

"GET OFF ME"she screamed

"Callie Baby its me its Mom you are safe my love"she yelled

Callie was breathing heavily 

"Cal"Lena said "Its just us you can open your eyes"she had tears in her eyes

Callie opened her eyes and focused on Stef.She burst into tears Stef held her close to her

"It hurt so bad when he..."

Lena stopped her"Its ok Callie you don't need to tell us"she rubbed her arm

"Its ok now Love your safe now"

"I can still feel him on me"she cried 

"Callie really think you should go see someone they came help you with this"

"If you wont do it for yourself then do it for your kids"

Callie looked at both of them"Ok I'll do it"she lean back into Stef
