Third Person's POV

He looked up and was taken aback.

It was Jake now. Smiling faintly at him.

"Y-yeah sure."

Sunghoon took a deep breath as Jake went to sit beside him. He looked at Sunoo and Ni-Ki only to find out that they're looking at him.

'That's why they transferred seat.'

He thought as he slowly glanced at Jake beside him. Who is searching for something on his bag. He let's out a huff as he turned to Sunghoon. Which surprised him.

"Do you have extra pen there? I need to fill out this form I can't find my pen"

Jake said shyly. Trembling. Sunghoon went to grab his pen and gave it to Jake.

He took the opportunity to scoot a little closer to see what was Jake writing. Mastering his courage. He spoke.

"What's that for?"

Jake glanced at him before writing again.

"Oh. Just a letter. I can't attend practice today so I need to go home early. I'll give this to coach."

Sunghoon nodded as he mentally raised his fist. HE IS FINALLY TALKING TO JAKE.

"Oh"

That was his only reply. And Sunghoon now starts to panic. He don't know what to say anymore. Suddenly, Jake stood up. He looked at him attentively.

"You're not going home yet right? Can you hold my bag for a while? I'll just give this to coach."

Taken a back. Sunghoon felt his heart race.

"Go on."

Is all that he can say. Jake nodded and went to jog to the field. Then Sunghoon remembered, he should've let Jake sit and him go give the letter since Jake is sick. But it's too late now.

Sunghoon stared at Jake's bag and slowly held it closer to him.

'This is what it feels like to finally hold something that he owns.'

He took all the possible details that he could as he stares at it intently. He'll never know when's going to be the next time he can hold Jake's bag like this so he's making the most out of it.

"Hey. My bag won't run from you"

Sunghoon looked up only to see Jake smiling him. He gulped as Jake sat again.

Silence filled in the place and Sunghoon is really panicking now. He keeps on stealing glances to the man beside him who is busy scrolling on his phone.

Sunoo and Ni-Ki has already passed by with Jungwon a while ago and they stole glances and smiled cheekily on Sunghoon.

"You're not going home yet?"

Surprised by the sudden voice, Sunghoon looked at Jake immediately.

"Not yet....."

"You're still waiting for Jay? You guys are friends right?"

Stopping his smiles, Sunghoon answered.

"Yeah. For a long time now."

"Really? Wait. We've been classmates for how many years now?"

Jake said as he thinks. Sunghoon became excited and answered immediately.

"Four years"

Looking at Sunghoon surprised, Jake answered.

"Really? It's a long time and I really don't remember your name. I mean. I know your name but that's all I know haha"

Not believing what he's hearing right now. Sunghoon thinks of a nice answer to keep the conversation going.

"Oh. Right. I'm. Sunghoon......"

Jake nods.

"I'm Jake"

'Yeah I know'

Sunghoon thought.

"So. Sunghoon. I need to go. My driver's here. See you tomorrow"

Jake said as he waved his hand to Sunghoon. Smiling, Sunghoon waved his hand back as he looked at him go.

'I guess I can go home now'
