Chapter 5: A strange feeling

A/N: Hey Guys! I'm back with a new chapter and in this chapter there will be a duel. Keep in mind that I am not that good in writing duels since I have some trouble writing them. But this will be a short duel plus Ruka and some of the others will feel that something is not quite right. Plus Ruka will see something that will shock her and leave her with question. So now on to the story!

Aki's P.O.V.)

This was not good all I wanted was to spend time with Yusei and the others enjoying ourselves with no troubles and ice cream. And here I am behind him who was protecting me from this perverted Hooligan who just assaulted me for trying to get me to date him. My wrist still hurt from that man's grip as I rubbed it gently. He turned towards me as he inspected my wrist.

"Aki, are you hurt?" He asked concernedly.

"Yea I'm fine." I replied although Yusei could tell I wasn't.

"Let me see your wrist." He demanded as I showed him my wrist, he gently took my hand as he checked it. I blushed a little when he did that.

"It doesn't look that bad." He said. "Don't worry you'll be fine."

Yusei gave me a smile as he assured me. Although I was glad that he was here but at the same time worried for him, I hope he doesn't do something reckless. Yet he always does something reckless whenever his friends or any of us are in a pickle.

Yusei then turned to my attacker. "You know it's not nice to hurt a lady."

My attacker looked nervous as he was now dealing with a pissed off Yusei. However I began to feel something strange? And it was coming from Yusei. For some unknown reason I can feel something from him, and it felt cold. Something wasn't right.

Just then my attacker chuckled. "Hey all I wanted was to get to know her." He continued. "And maybe ask her out."

I gave a glare to the man, how dare him. As if I ever go out with a snob like him, but I still felt something wasn't right? I looked at Yusei worried.

"So why does it matter to you anyway?" The Goon asked.

"This person you just attacked happens to be my friend. So I'll have to ask you to leave her alone and go somewhere else!" Yusei replied back in an almost threatening tone.

"Hey Yusei! Aki! You guys okay!" Rua called out.

Jack, Crow, Rua and Ruka had arrived and what a relief. Although I'm more concerned for Yusei as he didn't even noticed the others arrival, I hope he doesn't do anything reckless or anything bad.

(Jack's P.O.V.)

We had arrived just in time all thanks to Ruka's warning and it looks like things are about to get ugly. I can see Yusei staring at this punk who just attacked Izayoi, but something didn't feel right? For some reason I began to feel a strange feeling coming from somewhere but where? Just then my attention turned to Izayoi as I noticed her rubbing her wrist. It looked like that guy must have hurt her.

"Are you alright?" I asked though I wouldn't be this concerned for her.

"Yes, I'm alright Jack." She replied. "But I'm more concerned about Yusei."

She said as I turned my gaze at Yusei as I noticed he had an almost angry look in his face. Strange? I never seen him give a face like that before? He looked like he was getting ready to pummel the guy to death. Although I wouldn't mind seeing him do it to this punk-ass.
