You were moving into a new apartment and needed some help with the boxes. So you decided to ask your best friend Derek he was always willing to help you, and he did. You guys had to carry boxes up 4 flights of stairs. By the time all the boxes were in your apartment it was 1:00 am you and Derek were both tired and exhausted. You guys had been playing music the entire time you were working. The song that played was yours and his favorite it was "Pierre" (very good song yall should listen to it) as soon as you heard it you both looked at each other and smiled "I think after all that work we deserve to have a little dance competition" he said standing up putting his hand out and helping you off the couch "that my good sir is a splendid idea" you joked. It was a fast up beat song but you two were slow dancing. The song ended and you guys stopped dancing and started laughing. He was staying the night since it was late and you didn't want him to drive home so late and in the dark. You guys stayed up late and you guys were attempting to make a homemade pizza. You made the dough and he rolled it out. You guys both added the sauce and cheese. "Would you like to do the honors" he said handing you pepperoni "oh I've only dreamed of this" you laughed you added the pepperoni and put it in the oven. You guys sat on the stools and talked till the oven went off. He went to grab the pizza and place it on the stove for it to cool off. "Looks pretty good" you smiled "yeah let's hope it taste good too" you guys waited a couple minutes and then you cut the pizza, placing a piece on each plate. You two both tried it "how did we screw up a pizza" "I couldn't tell ya but rossi would be very disappointed" you guys are the pizza anyways because you guys we're starving. By the time you guys actually were about to go to bed it was 3:25am. You slept in the living room because you hadn't set your room up yet. You let him have the couch and you had a bunch of blankets on the floor for yourself. You guys laid down and you were seconds away from sleep when Derek said "ya know y/n I think I'm in love with you. Everything about you makes me smile you give me butterflies which sounds stupid since we've been friends so long but you're just so amazing" those words woke you wide awake. "Ya know Derek If I weren't so tired I'd get up and come kiss you but I guess it'll have to wait till morning" he was quiet and then all of a sudden his lips were on yours. He broke the kiss "sorry, I just couldn't wait till morning" "I'm glad you didn't" you smile to yourself.
