"I'm gonna miss you" the brunette was pulled into a tight hug, affectionate, full of emotion. Mixed emotions.
She smiled softly, weakly, the smile one would make when they're hurt, but grateful for having such supportive loved ones. As she got comfortable in this tight hug by her twin, she heard footsteps.
Of course, when you live with your classmates you begin to recognise their footsteps, being able to tell who it is by the speed and heaviness of the footsteps.
She could tell this one was an unpleasant person, who, she thought, had every right to be mad at her.
The footsteps came closer and closer, as the person reached the entrance of the school, crowded with the brunette's belongings and loved ones.
"So are you to reversing roles now?" Said Alyssa, as she leaned on a sofa.
The twins pulled away from their hug, as Josie stared at her feet. She deserved to be treated like this, like mud, she thought.
"Did you seriously go out of your way to wake up this early just to make Josie feel uncomfortable?" Said Hope, defensively, in sheer annoyance. She stepped forward, closer to Alyssa, as she said this.
Lizzie was staring at Alyssa narrow eyed, knowing if she opened her mouth, she would say unforgivable things.
Mg, Lizzie and Hope were all ready to defend Josie, from whatever came out of Alyssa's mouth, although, the twin had explained multiple times how she thought Alyssa has every right to be this furious with her.
Alyssa, stared at Hope blankly, then decided to leave, walking away with pride, but still in defeat.
"Let me at her." murmured Lizzie, no louder than a whisper so that only Josie could hear her.
"Josie I know you think you deserve to be treated this way but the reality is that no one does. You're not at fault for what happened to her, that wasn't you" said Hope, as she put her arm around Josie's shoulder.
The door opened as Alaric entered, and the room's mood suddenly changed.
"The car is all set" he said, sighing
"MG, care to help me carry the bags?"
MG nodded and used his vampire strengths and speed, so that in no longer than 10seconds, the room was clear of all Josie's belonging. All set in the car.
"Done!" said MG, proud with himself.
The twins and Hope exchanged meaningful glances at each other, until Lizzie pulled both of them in for one last hug.
