The brunette ran towards her mother and hugged her, just like she used to when she was a kid. A hug, full of love, they've missed each other so much.
"God" said Caroline, letting out a sigh
"I've missed you so much baby"
hugging her even tighter.
The twin felt like there were no other place in the world she would prefer to be.
However, her mother pulled her away.[me starting ever chapter with a hug is probably gonna be a thing...]
"Are you ok?" said Caroline, with a familiar concerned face; a small frown, her blue eyes looking deep into Josie's, as she had both her hands on the twin's arms.
Josie swallowed and bit her bottom lip, she was too exhausted to talk now. As her stomach swirled and her throat had a big lump, her ears felt weird, her head felt like it was being hammered.
She frowned a bit, as her bottom lip stuck out. Between Josie and her mother, this was a reply, clearer than words, in fact."Right, well how about we go home, you can lie down a bit and then when your feeling better we can go get lunch, ok babe?" said Caroline, with hopes that during lunch, her daughter would talk about her feelings, perhaps.
Josie then realised she hadn't spoken a single word, she began to think of a good reply, then when she had finally found one, they were already inside an Uber, as the driver loaded the twin's luggage into the vehicle.
She pulls up her legs and hugged them with her hands as she laid her head on her mother's shoulder.
"Josie"
"Josie wake up we're here"
The brunette opened her eyes slowly, thinking she was still in her bedroom, then her awareness kicked in and she realised she had arrived at her mother's house."I forgot where I was for a second" she murdered, weakly. Her voice was low and crack-y, as it always is in when first wakes up. 'Man-voice' is what her twin called it.
Her mother laughed, and then held her hand, pulling her up in excitement as if she were the 16year old, wanting her daughter to look at her new home.

"When ric told me you were coming, I decorated the guest bedroom to look more home-y for you" Caroline explained, as she showed her daughter her room.
It was a fair sized white room with yellow bedsheets spread on a king sized bed in the middle of the room, with two white nightstands on either end, both had small lava lamps that glowed pink, yellow and blue. There was a light pink fluffy rug in the middle of the room, very, very, light pink. Something particularly caught Josie's eye.
A picture on the vanity.
She walked over towards it, and held it in her hand. It was a picture of her and her ex. Penelope, smiling like idiots at the camera with Penelope's arms around Josie's neck, hugging her. Josie seemed to be laughed at something Penelope said, as Penelope was smiling ear-to-ear at the camera."What's this doing here?" She asked, not taking her eyes of the picture.
"That's your girlfriend Penelope is it not?"
said Caroline, confused, slowly realising that they must've broken up.Josie put the picture back on the vanity, she should've throw it, or burned it or something, but her heart was telling her not to. She turned to her mother.
"Oh my God, Josie I'm so sorry I didn't know I-" said Caroline, disappointed in herself, how could she not know what's going on in her daughter's love life?
"It's ok." said Josie, cutting her off.
She didn't want to be reminded how she left her. How she told her she loved her, with all her obnoxious, selfish, evil heart.
"I'm hungry"
