***Leah's POV***

I stumble over the uneven cobblestones, muttering to myself. I'm drunk as a skunk and can barely see straight. I try to stand tall, to look at least halfway dignified, and manage to do so for a bit. "Corporal Aschenbrenner, there seems to be someone following us," Franklin says as I turn. I see a tall dark headed girl following us and then look at Jackson. "One of your groupies?" I ask as he shakes his head. We stop as the girl comes close to us. She stops in front of me and then stares at me.

***Yuri's POV***

I look at Charlee and then at the other three soldiers who're standing by her. I walk up close to Charlee and then kiss her. "Meet me at my place tomorrow, babe," I say as I kiss her on the lips. She pulls away as I run, hoping she won't see the tears of joy in my eyes.

***Leah's POV***

I watch as the girl who'd kissed me runs away, tears in her eyes. "Well, I think she's your groupie, Corporal Aschenbrenner," Franklin mocks as I give him the finger. "Leah, are you feeling okay?" Alex asks as I nod, still tasting the girl's taste on my lips.

"I love you, hon," I hear the girl say in my head. A pain goes through my head and I fall to my knees as images rush through my head. I see the girl kiss me on the lips and then lick my neck. I see her lick my breasts as we lay together. I see her...

"Leah!" Alex says as I look up. "I'm fine. It's okay," I say as I stand. I look in the direction of the girl and then walk back to barracks with my troops, my head pounding with suppressed memories or something.

***The next day, Leah's POV***

I lay next to the toilet, pale and dehydrated. "Never again," I think as I stand. I flush the toilet and then look at myself in the mirror. My hair is plastered to my face in disgusting strands. I groan and then pull my hair back. Deep, dark circles cover my eyes, looking like I'd been beaten with something. But that wasn't it. I'd been having dreams about that girl. I'd see her laying on top of me, pleasure flooding her features. God, was she part of my experience in that godforsaken prison camp? "Maybe what Baker told you is a lie," a nasty voice in my head mocks as I shiver. Why would Jeremiah lie to me? He was a friend, wasn't he? "If he lied, I'll kill him," I think as someone pounds on the door, adding to my headache. "Aschenbrenner! Adelberg wants to speak to ya!" the man says as I groan. I take one last look at myself and then walk out. I enter the mess hall and then get a cup of coffee. I sip at it, finally feeling halfway decent. "Morning, Leah," I hear Adelberg say as I stand. I salute him and he nods. I look him up and down and then smile. "You look rather cheerful, sir. Better than me, in fact," I say as he laughs. "Remember that blonde at the bar? That's the one I met during the Irish War and we rather, ah, hooked up last night," he says as I laugh. "We're going for dinner tonight. So, you may have the night off. In fact, I heard Baker's in town, if you're interested," he says as I groan. "You tell Jeremiah I'm here and I'll jump into the river," I say as a sudden thought goes through my head. "I've gotta meet a friend tonight anyway," I say as I stand. I salute him and then walk out of the hall.
